at reasonable price. it is just 5 to 10 minutes driving from downtown
charleston such as whitehead dock, etc. charleston is a small gem, so you
may not find it very exciting. you may not need a full day to walk through

也是为什么Charleston非常例外。整个城市遍布庄园和园林，许多高大宏伟的私人建筑
，非常贵族化。其实我自己住过的南方城市都很土啦，比如Virginia的Richmond，比如
Charlottesville. 这也是为什么被Charleston惊艳到了。后来去了New Orleans，比

的Charleston Impression:
小雨敲打着石板路，街上的行人寥寥；窄窄的小巷，匆匆的行人，摇曳的烛火，擦肩而
过的马车，让我恍惚中回到了200年前的Charleston；街边民间艺人的Saxphone，抑扬
顿挫，演绎着岁月的乐章，婉转在石板的路面上，折射在店铺的门窗上，回旋在教堂的
塔尖上。。。然而最令我心动的，却是一家餐馆里一位少妇抱着一个小天使一般的小孩
子，在布满水雾的玻璃上，小孩子用小手在写字（画画？）。。。这一切，是如此安详
，宁静，仿佛这一刻的时空，凝聚了人世间所有的美好。。。
Charleston的小巷，好像是《花样年华》中滴滴答答的雨声中上海（香港？）的小巷，

一小段时间（〈3个月），不知道那位可否提供一些information about apartment or

weekday nights in the room and travel between charlotte and charleston in

两个城市风格比较像。。。
犯罪率高。。。犯罪率高的地方多的去了。。经常在charleston和savnnah转没出过事
。。其实只要在人多的地方就好。。
s城可以跟楼上说的观光bus tour，顺便可以把车停在bus站，是免费的。。其它地方不
好停。。地址就在马丁路得金的scad上。。
住的话推荐downtown， 海逸什么的，当然也有很多很有风情的老式hotel。。
因为s和c城太远了。。其实我更推荐s城和只隔40min的南卡小刀hilton head。。。偶
另一个贴里说了。有家叫steamer的海鲜很不错。。。一大盆。。。 |
