there isn't really a main building (was burnt down). but I love it's natural
environment and the landscape right on the Charleston river.

吃的吗？考古了一下以前的帖子，好像downtown的建筑，附近的庄园，航母，都还不错

还有，historical downtown的宾馆太贵了，我准备住在river area或mt pleasant，请
问downtown有可以从早到晚停一天车的地方吗？

去downtown乱窜吧。
downtown有好几家fancy的餐馆多不错的。
停车，e bay st上有一个harris teeter，偶每次都把车停在那里，然后在downtown里
乱窜，没人管我要停车费的。
说实话，同为比较有种植园风情的城市，偶觉得savannah的文化感要强一点，
charleston要休闲一点。。。 |

Atlanta for more inventory. He is more expensive than some of the other
Oriental supermarkets around, but he has a better variety of products. The
freshness cannot be guaranteed though. The salted eggs are often not very

patriot point and the memorial waterfront park (with a kid play yard ). if you like
running, the bridge give you the best view in charleston area.

charleston还挺漂亮的。这两天天气也不错，不冷。
golden garden名不虚传，味道不错！
basil thai非常好吃！我们五人都吃得很开心！大力推荐basil duck
wok - world oriental kitchen 超级大烂店！我们点得菜什么lemongrass chicken,
red curry chicken, veggie stir fry看上去都长差不多，基本都是油泡饭或者油泡面
条，里面几小块鸡肉和几小丝白菜，更悲催得是，味道都是甜的。服务态度还恶劣，跟
捞半complain，结果人把我们无法入口的还剩了一大半的菜端走也没说道歉或给重做。
总之还没去过这家的千万别去了。 |

餐馆的老板
聊天，他们说有那边有几个公寓还是比较安全的，不少警察住在里面。最后我还是选了
West Ashley，
安全性还不错，价格可以接受。不过后来又看了一些James Island的公寓，还不错的说。
不过都离楼主上班的Daniel Island比较远了。

这样周六去周日回很充裕，不过我还真想不出有什么别的好看的地方。似乎也没有什么
特别可以推荐的美食。
感受——
1。如果去过波士顿，Charleston的老城区就没必要去了。
2。如果去过Asheville那个大房子，庄园也可以跳过了。 |
