centralized monitoring 完全没有用,就是浪费钱。无论是警察还是消防局，都来不及
反应，不用说他们还要确认这个不是false alarm. 本来决定用 nextalarm 的，因为看
到他们的review还可以，现在决定不用了。因为我们开窗的时候比较多，最后如果造成
false alarm的话还是要罚钱的（第一次不罚钱，第二次100，第三次500，第四次以上
你的房子就进黑名单，不被管理了）。

电。
问了broker，说我需要付run blower fan的电费，上网查了一下，一个普通的blower
fan
大概是750w，每度电费我们这里大概15 cents. 我不确定blower fan是怎么个运作，是
24小时都开着吗？

发帖数: 1813 | 47 住在北边，冬天要开挺长时间的暖气。可是一开central heating，屋子里就变得很干
。睡觉的屋子里有小的台式加湿器，有点帮助。但是如果白天不上班，在家里待较长时
间的话，还是会觉得很干。正在考虑要不要装一个central humidifier，可是不知道有
多大用。如果管用的话，哪个牌子和型号的比较好呢？希望大家提提建议。谢谢。 |

核期间了，心中开始犹豫，是否下offer有点太冲动了，我们上班在纽约Rockefeller
Ctr 和Grand Central，路上大约要1.5小时，有没有也有住在warren新泽西附近的朋友
分享一点交通经验，这样的路程是否可行。明天就是律师审核的最后一天，如果要反悔
，不知道还可不可以。
我们准备交通方案如下，
1）开车20分钟到summit火车站，
2）Summit到NY Penn Station 40mins
3) Take Subway from Penn Station to Rockefeller Ctr/Grand Central 20mins

发帖数: 693 | 50 我们在sunnyvale看中了一个房子，就是没有central heating, 房子比较老了，如果
重新装一个的话，会比较麻烦。现在的情况是每个卧室有单独的electrical unit,整个
厨房和客厅有一个gas furnace. 请问这样冬天够吗？会不会很贵？另外，大家有
central heating的，一般冬天都开吗？电费大概多少钱呢？
我们agent说这种分开控制的也有好处，可以省电，也不知道能省多少呢？多谢！ |
