Here's the situation around me.
The NHK is saying that the chance of getting aftershocks bigger than M7.0 is
~70%.
Supermarkets and kombinis in central Sendai are emptied out today, but I
have secured food for ~2 weeks, with a 5kg bag of rice.
I'm just going out to help out people in Higashi Nibancho school in central
Sendai.
Still experiencing aftershocks.
No gas/heating yet. I have filled the bathtub with water and I pour some
boiling water when I try to take a bath tonight.
I have water, but it could stop at any moment.
Out of ~30 friends I have here, communications with ~10 are still blacked
out. Out of the confirmed-surviving 20, about 10 lost their homes and cars.
(需要电话联系那儿朋友的应该多打电话,那儿貌似打不出来)I can receive phone calls and messages, but cannot send messages or call
someone.
Internet connection by phone is intermittent.
Fukushima nuclear power plant is the current primary concern
My friend is updating me on where to get stuff.
