左，党内担心他不能安抚中间选民。搞垮Dean靠两点，一是在Iowa的Caucus上搞掉Dean
的momentum。第二，把他的长啸反复在电视上播放，把他spin成一个freak.
历史上Iowa的Caucus本来地位是不如NH的Primary的，最近两次却出奇的重要。Iowa
Caucus的结果，Kerry第一，Edwards第二，Dean仅为第三。这个结果一直让人很不解，
因为此前Dean在Iowa的民调一直领先。舆论普遍认为是因为Dean和另一位候选人，来自
于Iowa邻州的Gephardt，的互相攻击使这两位在Iowa应该的头两名最后变成了3，4名。

今天最新出爐的消息,民主黨拉丁及非裔議員今天給了自己同僚另一位亞裔眾議員Al
Muratsuchi (AM)一個下馬威，繼劉雲平之後,又以AM再作一個榜樣，如果不遵守"core
Democratic Party priority" 的可能後果。
問題是AM根本沒聲明他是反SCA5的。他們只是拿另一個亞裔議員作個榜樣嚇阻其他的議

很多人认为华人在美国应该多投票，多发声，其实是然并卵。首先美国华人的人口在可
预见的将来根本不可能超越黑墨，就算100％的华人投票率对美国政坛的影响力也是微
不足道。其次华人一张黄皮，加上文化的差异跟其他种族和主流之间的差异巨大，注定
是这个国家的另类。所以美国华人应该走的是犹太人精英主义的路，而不是黑墨靠数量
取胜的路。华人选择职业的方向应该是美国三大吸血行业（律师，金融，医生），而不
是马工，工程师这些毫无影响力的职业。通过控制美国的金钱命脉成为美国的财主。再

Caucus三德子和可撸之占优。会去caucus的人多是某党铁杆，倾向于极端观点。而且去
caucus的人往往自诩道德模范，所以希老太和唐老壮这种道德上有瑕疵的人吃亏。
primary更能反映中间选票和沉默的大多数的想法。
除了竞争对手的home state（NH也算大半个三德子home state），唐老壮和希老太都只
输了两个primary。爱达荷和俄克拉荷马。这俩州都是closed primary，限制了中间选
票。
而caucus俩人都输了一大半。

分子对普通人的影响更大。
所以在CAUCUS选举过程中，更极端的参选者更容易获胜。
而PRIMARY有更多的人参与，极端的积极分子的影响相对小。
这样更中性的参选人，
也就是那些更有COMMON SENSE的人更容易获胜。
CRUZ更极端偏右，所以他在CAUCUS表现更好一些。

做反对党的时候，立场坚定当然没有错。但是做执政党了，思想就转不过弯来了。

Md. GOP Senators Oppose Marriage Equality

Some Findings:
* 35.6 million people have voted
* The 37 primary states account for 97% of the vote.
* The 13 caucus states account for 3% of the vote.
Bottom line: Clinton’s lead is from 34.5 million voters (97%) in
Primaries. Obama’s lead is from 1.1 million voters (3%) in caucuses. |
