自从三年前搬离没有秋天的佛罗里达开始，我对寻找秋色这一活动孜孜不倦乐此不疲。
可惜三年来，风景看了许多，总是和想象中那种满山红遍的震撼景象差了不少。
初来乍到dc很快就是秋天，人生地不熟，少不了上了Shenandoah的贼船，后来才知道整
个mid-Atlantic地区从大名鼎鼎的大雾山到臭名昭著的仙难道，都是oak和hickery为主
的森林，号称有秋色，其实多半是个骗局。
第二年，我们下了血本远赴新英格兰，路上还和我在买买提的偶像肥猫大大互通消息，
结果几千大洋花了一周假期废了，带回的是满满的失望。
第三年，几乎都对寻秋活动绝望了，无意中决定尝试一下离家三小时车程的local滑雪

非常小，但是东西很全，价钱只比法拉盛贵一点点，蔬菜非常新鲜。 每个周五老板都
会去纽约进货，带回来各种唐人街的面包，点心，凤爪等等。而且可以提前ORDER 你所
需要的food，相当于代购了。。。
另外，Norwalk 的 Shop Rite 美国超市的蔬菜也非常新鲜，种类非常多，价钱也不贵
。 再结合COSTCO, 估计也不必大老远开车到White Plains 的金山，或者法拉盛了。。

谁看过？觉得好不好看？很多名角也，演异形阿凡达的老酷女Sigourney Weaver，魔戒
主角的Elijah Wood，蜘蛛人的Tobey Maguire。97年的片子，他们看上去都还年轻。
去借这个片子来看，主要是和我相熟的一个香港出生美国长大的女孩，说她家就在康州
New Canaan，就是这部片子拍的地方。另外一个朋友问她，new caanan真像冰风暴拍的
那样让人抓狂吗？香港女孩说，是呀，even more。她父母从香港移民过来，开餐馆发

古希腊语言来自小亚细亚地区的爱欧尼亚，古希腊字母源自腓尼基字母。对此西方希腊
学者也无异义。
腓尼基字母从右向左写。因为希腊人的书写工具是泥版和蜡板，有时前一行从右向左写
完后顺势就从左向右写，变成所谓“耕地”式书写，后来逐渐演变成全部从左向右写。
字母的方向也颠倒了。后来罗马人引进希腊字母，略微改变为拉丁字母，在中世纪世界
广为流行。
腓尼基语是古代中东沿海地区的语言，这一地区古埃及称作"Pūt" ，希伯来、埃及称
作为"迦南"，拉丁人称作"腓尼基” 。
迦南地（英语：Canaan，希伯来语：?????????，希腊语：Χανα?ν，阿拉伯
语：??????）很有名，原意为“低”，指沿海低地。
这是一个古代中东地区的名称，大致相当于今日巴勒斯坦——以色列和加沙，加上临近
的黎巴嫩和叙利亚的临海部分。这块地方在圣经中是耶和华特许给犹太人的土地。

以色列最初仅是圣经中的一个部族而非国名，可查考的最早传说，西方认为出现在公元
前12００年。
圣经中许多记述是来自传说和神话，并非信史。实际上关于大卫王、所罗门的传说都非
有据可考的信史，而只是圣经旧约中的故事。
但是，犹太人把传说现实化。他们认为自己是圣经传说中以色列民——希伯来人的后裔
——？但是否确实，这是有待考证的问题。在过去上千年的历史中，犹太人一直视中东
的巴勒斯坦——以色列地——即圣经中的迦南地，为犹太民族的故土和精神生活的核心
，称之为“圣地”或“应许之地”。
迦南地，也叫迦南美地。这里古代居住的先是本土的迦南人——埃及人。后来迁入外
来的希伯来人。
