sue any law enforcement agencies that use them.
What you don't want to do is give scumbag lawyers of opposite side any

If LZ mainly want to do paper plinking, get a 9mm, the ammo is cheap, and it
is a fun caliber to shoot.
If LZ want to have a gun shooting 45 caliber hammer to the target, them of
course 45 ACP is better.
Well, IMHO, in self defence, 357Sig and 40S&W are better choices compared to
9mm and 45ACP, when talking about a balance in hydrostatic shock "knock
down capability" and capacity.

cheaper than other calibers because there are lots of military surplus 308,
but there are no military surplus ammo for like 270, 243, etc.
Of course, if you are comparing with 223 or 7.62x39, 308 is definitely more

shorter case can generate enough energy

tried to stay away from it. I have a similar size 1911 but it is a 9mm.
The shortest in 45 caliber that I have is actually 4 inch and works
flawlessly. Also, the recoil might be too much for a 3 inch barrel. |

CZ is hard to get these days.
Smith Wesson MP40 good, but it is a plastic gun like the Glock.
There are some upper market Swiss and German guns, they are at least 800
dollars, if you are rich, go for it.
1911s are nice, but again, less reliable than Glock and Beretta. My second
gun will be a 1911 but it is expensive.

anything > or = 9mm (which usually means either 9 mm, .40, or .45 acp)).

That is Hi-Point Carbine either 995TS or 4095TS or 4595TS (pistol caliber
9mm/.40S&W/.45ACP). They are low tier reliable pistol caliber carbine. Low
recoil. Very fun to shoot.

There are a lot of discussion of stoping power, safety, etc. But did anyone
read state law that regulates Conceal Carry?
I know that in Texas, CHL holder can only carry .32 and above caliber, thus
22lr is not legal carry caliber.
