而且前面那位推荐的几个地方，都是new britain跟farmington相交的地界，住的UCHC
的中国人很多，治安应该还可以
要说最方便嘛，当然还是住在俺们west hartford center最方便啦，就是前面说的那个
旁边有墓地的公寓，到center步行5分钟
如果预算够高的话，我要不就选在west hartford center 附近的房子，要不就去选
farmington的湖景房 |

new britain这个小镇总体很差，是波兰人的大本营。有小孩上学的话坚决不考虑。与
farmington交界的地方治安还可以，但是，没有绝对安全的地方，而且公寓房安全系数
总是更小些。我们以前在2090 stanley st住了7年多，觉得还蛮好。特别是附近有小公
园，去跑步烧烤闲坐。父母来了，有地方去遛弯散步。另外new britain的房租比wh和
farmington要便宜不少，2090的一室户只要800多，面积我觉得都可以赶上wh的两室户
了，呵呵（不好意思有做广告的嫌疑，停了） |

aside, I think the monarchs and royals sorta symbolizes a sense of
continuity and stability in not just Britain, but much of the Europe. It
gives Britain certain depth and identity that younger countries such as
America and Canada lacks. Speaking of parasites, though we might not be
fond of Kings, queens or Dukes, we certainly aren't short of tax payer money
sucking parasitic politicians in Washington.

看看你们去过几个？
排名第三的彼得堡的state hermitage museum，拍过电影russian ark，就记得金碧辉
煌，没看到什么画……
排第15的Yale Center for British Art我也常觉得比英国的画廊都好……小而精致，
各个时期和画家的代表作收集得很精，介绍也很精，看完印象很深。建筑也很宽敞明亮
，令人愉快，不过太亮是不是对画不好。
有个Doha的Museum of Islamic Art。希望有机会去。
台北故宫上榜，北京故宫没上，倒是北京的789工厂榜上有名。说最近有一个Duchamp
and/or/in China的展览，到六月中截止。听着挺有趣，不知道goldy去看过没。
第50名是波士顿的museum of bad art，听着很好玩，有人去过吗？

some funnels more of his home-made beer and stumbled into the Saturday Night
Live (SNL) for venting. Unfortunately, the Watergate 7.2 bugs still work as
hell well as any new ones, and they still leak.

picture, for example, does Britain has as many certain races, at certain
economic status.
A more meaningful comparison is with itself, before and after the ban of gun
ownership. Then they would smash their own feet because both Britain and
Australia's violent crime rate went up significantly after the ban. |

佛法何以成为目前西方发展最快的宗教
当西方传统信仰日渐远离人心、与科学不兼容、难以令人信服、疏离社会、难以吸引人
、教堂关闭、教产拍卖、教士转业日多，佛法却为英国学者波威尔（Andrew Powell）
在《常新佛教》（Living Buddhism）一书中，指出是目前西方发展最快的宗教。洋人
信佛、学佛的原因主要是和西方传统信仰的衰微、佛教本身的优点、喇嘛僧的到来、信
息流通的频繁等因素有关。
一、西方传统信仰后系动摇，造成精神的空虚
其原因是：
1. 教理欠圆融
中东发源的信仰，含有神权至上的霸气、教条主义的虐迫性、褊狭族群的排他
性，与科学理性之认知甚少兼容，一般人视为过时、落伍、迷信、远离尘世、与现实社
