but they would not trade their public hospitals for insurance companies in
the US. BTW, both Canada and Britain rank higher in terms of health care quality than the US. Actually, the US ranks the lowest among developed countries.
Again, please do some research. Go read Paul Krugman's column. I am serious. He's a nobel prize winning economist. His comments on this issue are really to the point. |

CTNONMING 讲的950 有不少老中住那儿, 还不错. NEW BRITAIN离WESTFARM MALL附近的
几个APT COMPLEX同样也不错, 单稍贵些.
同样的APT, FARMINGTON的APT要比NEW BRITAIN贵些, 主要还是学区差别.

我只说 one bedroom的。
Tofel，西麻人，毕业后在NH接受劳动改造，两个月后逃窜到康州newington.新老板给
了一个星期的旅馆住，不过房子还是要自己找的。
先说工作在newington找房子的options: Hartford, West Hartford, Farmington, New
Britain, Wethersfield. 河对岸的east hartford 和 manchester。
East Hartford 和 Manchester 要过河，我怕堵车就没考虑。
Hartford: 黑人兄弟实在太多。
New Britain: 治安差。
Farmington: 学区好，地方也好，不过价钱也摆在那里，$850-1000/m, 基本上什么都
不包。
West Hartford: 跟Farmington 差不多，不过房子更贵，过千。
Newington: 我重点找的town. 基本上是$850-950,过900的一般包热水和暖气。1.

exchange, cross the farmington ave of health center is a little bit pricy,
but good place.
My opinion is that the first one is the best for family of 3, or 4. Of
course there are tons of other nice apartment, once you get familiar with
this area, you will be good.

福地区，New Britain比Hartford市要好一些。我曾经有朋友住在学校附近，那时似乎
也过得乐不思蜀似的。
因为是较差的地段，所以学校周边（步行距离）租房很便宜。消费高低。。。这要看你
自己了。除了租房便宜外，其它物价似乎和周边一样吧。
学校条件一般。该校招收的本科生都是本地考大学成绩不那么好的学生。也许我不该使
用这个“都是”。准确地说，这是我的武断印象，不见得符合事实。
这学校是一所小大学。不过，你都拿到该校的ｏｆｆｅｒ了，应该早就对该校有一定的
了解才是啊。 |
