发帖数: 310 | 4 新手正在制定圣诞节坐cruise的计划，我们正在从纽约出发的两艘船之间犹豫：
Norwegian Breakaway和Royal Explorer the Sea。这两艘船出发时间，行驶路线都大
同小异，6天7晚的行程，停3个岛，其中两个岛都一样，另外再停一个船公司自己的岛
。两艘船的区别主要是Norwegian是今年下水的新船，大，新，但是cruisecompete上很
多人complain这艘船太拥挤，设计量是4000人的，容纳3000人最好。吃的方面比Royal
要差一些，很多special restaurant要收费。Royal的船旧一些，小一些，价格上一个
cabin贵600多刀左右。但是吃的估计好一些。
因为这是第一次坐cruise，期待值比较高，希望能有个圆满的行程。想请有坐过这两艘
船的朋友能不能给点你们的意见，好让我这种新手，外加我们两个一起去的朋友决定坐
哪艘船。包子奖励。

如果行驶路线差不多，对我来说一定是大的和新的，norweigian 可以随时去吃饭， 不
用一定要6点和8点。

赛后总结第二篇：团队战术选择 - 争胜还是求败？
低水平的比赛，如我们现在参加的这种，团队战术选择其实不是太多，基本上就两个大
方向：breakaway，或 field sprint （不清楚意思的请google)
这次比赛我们队四人参加，按资历从老到小依次是我、E、G和S，我赶路迟到了半个小
时，到场时E已经把战术交代完了，基本意思是：这个赛道很tough，我们要保守一些节
约体力，争取压住整个车群的速度，拖到接近终点时，用field sprint决胜。
我听了大惊，说这个战术完全不适合这种赛道，是取败之道。求胜的团队战术，应该是
利用我队的人数优势（其他几个队都只有两人），不停地发起attack并跟进对手的
attack，直到形成决定性的breakaway。当时时间紧迫来不及给他们详细解释原因，赛
后给他们做了说明，在这里也分享一下：
breakaway是公路赛中不等到最后终点冲刺，而在赛段中间就不战而屈人之兵的绝杀。

上午赛了一场CAT5，不幸拿了个第三。
两小时后又赛了一场Master 35+ CAT4/5，结束前腿抽筋，拿了个幸运数十三。
今天的这个CAT5第三名，虽然比去年的第一名名次要低，但是含金量高：比赛前设定了
一个战术并且在比赛时坚决执行 - 发起和参加breakaway，组织breakaway group的
pace line。这两条计划都执行得非常好。犯的错误是，最后不幸被一个在breakaway全
程sucking wheel的人发起了另一个
breakway带走了两个人。我以为自己是第四名，结果那个耍诡计的人什么都算到了，却
在最后一个转弯后再转了一个错误的弯。等他醒悟后兜回来时，breakaway group 已经
全部通过了终点线，他得到了和他在breakway group里sucking wheel相应的排名：垫
底。于是大家依次递进，我从老四变成了老三。
而我所高兴的是，不但取得了好成绩，而且比赛前知道应该怎么取得，比赛后知道是怎
么取得的，犯了那些错误。

杆柄的长度，他建议是25寸（Default是27寸）。杆子可以刻名字，我就不麻烦了，万
一以后要卖掉也可以容易点。跟他谈及St Croix的Surf杆子，他说他们是拷贝他的的设
计，在远投比赛中是不会看到St Croix的牌子的。St Croix 10尺6的Legend Casting杆
子是11.5盎司，他说他的成品杆子不到9盎司。全保只有一年比较差劲，但是一年之后
的损坏绝大多数是自己搞坏的，自己要小心点保管。网上评论都看尽了，样子颜色设计
我也看的挺顺眼的。还有个叫DBlue，TC4杆子材料，传说就是Shimano的Tiralejo的杆
身，都是Made In China，150刀左右。暂时先买Breakaway，2-5盎司是最好耍的。我有
条超硬7尺11淡水鲈鱼杆子（也是我用于钓黑妹，Seabass的杆子）可以用作近距离抛投
，一盎司，二盎司50米左右，跟8尺Surf短杆没啥不一样了。

Norwegian Breakaway所在的NCL船队隶属于总部位于香港的丽星邮轮集团。估计是因为
这个原因，Norwegian游轮上的美食在北美几家主要的游轮公司中是最能迎合亚洲船客
口味的。主要体现在自助餐食材的多样与丰富，以及专门的龙虾之夜、亚洲之夜等主题
。24小时不间断的饮食供应，20多个各式风格餐厅可供选择，另外船上大多数正餐厅对

最近一直在纠结要不要考board的问题，来版上征求一下意见/建议：
此版上的人应该基本都属于一下两类：
（1）在中国读了医学本科，然后到美国读生物医学相关的硕士/博士；
（2）在中国一路读完博士，然后到美国做博士后。
这两类人的共同点就是，大部分时间都在lab做实验，不需要太多与人的沟通交流。我
自己的认为：（1）医生是一个与人交流的行业，跟同事，跟病人，跟病人家属，所以
首先口语非常重要，如果英语不够硬，或者口音太重，很难得到病人和家属的信任，而
且也得不到同行/同事的认可；（2）在美国做医生不同于在lab做技术活，与人
networking非常重要。在基础生物行业，就比如像在我们学校，中国人特别特别多（
post-doc，faculty，staff，graduate students），所以很容易就中国人扎堆，也很

patent the pinch to zoom or slide your finger to the right to unlock.
Imagine if the double click was patented, or the keyboard layout was

provocations and start negotiations".
He said Russia was behaving as it did before sending troops into Georgia in
2008 over the breakaway regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which have
large ethnic Russian populations.
"They are implementing the scenario like the one carried out in Abkhazia,
