总的原则上我肯定是持反对态度的。人还是应该有道德底线的。 当然了，天朝发展到
现在的阶段出这种事情也不奇怪。 这是现有道德崩坏和易得到的高科技之间的矛盾。
这还是明面上的， 暗地里搞成什么样都有可能。 执行这么多年一胎化，有一些中国人
对于生命已经没有敬畏和尊重了。 更政治化的东西就不说了毕竟不是政治版面 |

上周面的Sr. Scientist in Missouri，Biotech大公司。HR今天来电话谈工资，当时没
接着，准备明天打电话。
面试时，HR说给的是lower 60k。我光知道那个州消费啥的都较低，但这个价位还真的
越过我的心理承受能力了。我应该问多少合适些？
原来是等着绿卡，故只好在现在这个公司耗着。现在是不用再担心身份的问题，不知是
不是该这么着把自己卖了，先过去再找其他工作？还是跟现在这个公司再耗一阵子？但
怕的是下一个OFFER不知何时能拿到。 |

有个朋友从博士后跳出来第一份工作4万多(CRO). 四年跳了两次进了mid-size药厂也过
10万了。先搞两年经验就好了。Boston 的biotech 多，肯定有机会的。 |

pharmacutical，算是midsize的pharma，去年也被Abbott收购了，不知道这边的R&D还
保不保留。
不过Atlanta应该有不少startup的pharma和biotech，认真找机会应该还是有的。 |

好像SD Biotech 小Startup有一些。
我没在小公司做过。小公司缺点听说是不稳定，Politics更多。
有几个问题，SD什麽样的conference 会有较多的生计公司的人参加？
为什麽近几年大药厂在SD的site没有扩建，反而缩减？
例如，Biogen 2011关了SD的site。
波士顿Cambridge最近大兴土木，多家药厂建新的building，招数百个新员工是肯定的
了。
SD为什麽就没有这样欣欣向荣的情况呢？ |

人也都告诉你这边的biotech收入不入波士顿, 那你这样坚持问下去,有什么意义呢. 要
是真想来就来, 无非就是实地验证一下你来之前就了解了的内容.至于你说sd的人都用
脚投票了,可是投票的人大多数不是干这行的.人家投票跟你没关系.我认识的做这行的
人,有layoff后海龟的,有layoff后去东部的,还有layoff后正在找工作的,还有马上要被
layoff的.总之是不太景气.当然你来了以后也不一定要坚持本行的, 可以做地产经纪,
做贷款,开饭店,开daycare, 开课后补习班,或者改行计算机,可做的事多了去了. |
