个还算赚钱的部门一个接一个被自己搞死了。 Inteq， Atlas, BJ， BOT。貌似打2009
年后一直靠cutting cost保持账面上的盈利吧。 我很纳闷GE没有买。 一直觉得GE来
的一帮人在BHI里瞎搞就是无间道。现在尘埃落定了。 几年前BHI提出口号要超过Hal成
为第二。 现在倒也是通过把自己卖了这个方法实现这个目标了。 |

GE will pay $17 per share for BHI holder, so current price for BHI is like
close to $40/share. seems good price.
BHI get cash support in the future to pass the oil winter while GE used
small amount of money to play big role in oil/gas industry.
Seems a win win.

趁油价股价爆跌的时候决定出手。 竞争对手少的话，服务价格大可以提的跟slb一样高
。 反正layoff一定会有，suffer的会是那些中低级管理阶层， 还有overlap的部门。
好比cementing, 运气好点的就是fishing, hal没fishing部门。 |

This is a great buying opportunity for oil services group
My gut feeling：
It is temporary pullback associated with the higher cost of transition from
natural gas rigs to oil rigs. The current quarter and next quarter are vast
majority of the transitions hit. Second half of this year will be much
better.

各个公司年初砍人很正常。高通牛鼻不？坐收CDMA，LTE各种通信专利费收到手软，统
治高端智能手机芯片市场，今年初要砍1500人。intel牛鼻不？google/亚麻/微软/
facebook一众软件大佬都挺它的server，去年初关闭一工厂，减少人头忽悠一下花街，
几个月后不动声色的又开了，这么玩一把成了2014年道琼斯表现最好的股票之一。。。 |

tell the total number (49,500) that the world's largest oilfield companies (
slb, hal, bhi,wft) have cut. Apparently, after the merge of hal and bhi this
year, additional layoff is expected. Moreover, several mid-size companies
are going to file bankruptcy very soon, probably summer time.
I also said that, waiting for a few months, you can check out the Q2, Q3
