great inventions came up as of a hybrid of inter- or multi-disciplinary
research.
However, inter- or multi-disciplinary research is tempting but very
challenging. In order to get something out of it, at least you need to
understand the basics of the related knowledge. Most biology people like
myself, I beleive, do not know much about physics, or maths, or chemistry.

using film or camera? Personally I beleive ECL should always use camera

in an aqueous solution becuase its chain structure is coiled, forming ball-
like stucture. I could not find a reference talking about this in details. I
have requested some books by inter- library loan,which who knows how soon I
could get and how much can help. but I found a refernce just simply
mentioning this, which I beleive is engough for my paper.

Chinese academic system (as well as rules).
If someone gave me $$$ and said I just need to spend a few months in PKU, I
would do it. Nothing wrong with that.
I "guess" what happened is that ppl in PKU want to get Tian, but Tian can't
really be a "full-time" faculty, and I beleive Tian wouldn't cheat PKU on
this, but PKU ppl just wouldn't bother with this. Afterall, hiring a
Princeton (or MIT) tenured prof. would be such a glam |

biostatistics for it is the top clinic and has a lot medical data to
analysis.Maybe that is the reason for your boss to move.I suppose your boss
is moved to Rochester,not the other two locations of Mayo.There are a lot of
nice chinese in the town,too.So no problem to settle down.The only thing
the winter is longer about 6 month.But I beleive you will have plenty of the

I noticed since I did my USCE in California I got more interviews in
California. (If you get one on California minus well get your California
Letter.) I recommend trying to do USCE in 2 different places to spread your
influence. Perhaps it would be a good idea to do it in New York as it is IMG

not like the idea of applying Boostrapping with nonlinear mixed effects data
at all.
In the case of pharmacokinetis, most of times, boostrapping was used because
insufficient sample size, and you can not get a good statistical inference
from it. |

The truth is, he is from APPLIED PHYSICS, NOT just
PHYSICS department. They are different department!
Applied physics at Caltech is more or less close to
EE in other school, while more focused on fundamental
things rather than technology.
So, no need to say more, you shouldn't expect such
a guy to be a real physicist.
I beleive he himself know the difference between
applied physics and physics, but just don't want
to mention it since they need this flag!

him as an outstanding physicist, and as a person, I just
treat him as a normal disabled one. I beleive it would be
the best way to respect disabled people if we just treat
them as everyone else.
Maybe you are right that general public get interest in him
just because he got a rare desease. But I think many people
in physics don't think that way.

I thought it would be a straight forward thing, but I was wrong.
First time, I got the car back, surprisingly find out it pulls to the left.
I then went back. The service advisor seems did not beleive me. I pointed
out that they did not only get the alignment wrong, but also set the tire
pressure too high, 37-38 psi on all four. I got the pressure back to 32 but

to my hometown.My uncle knows the guys in the plant. So he could get some
good quality stuff. And I can't beleive that it's dirt cheap: only $0.50
per pound. But the taste is so good. Can't find anything that beats it at
any price point in the US. I have 3 big jars(Jiu Tan) sealed and stored in
China waiting for me to go back. |
