I am talking about 网球大使 here. I think whoever make more people watch/
play tennis should be voted 网球大使.
I beleive that the dominance of Federer is damaging mens tennis. Thanks to
Nadal, we still have something to watch in French Open. Without Nadal,
Federer probably go 85-1 this year and won all the important titles. Whats
there to watch?
I do not like Nadal' style either. But he is the savior of mens tennis now. |

In terms of importance in tennis:
1. 2nd Serve
1.5. 1 st serve
2. Return
3. Rally
4. Volley
5. Overhead
For non-professional players, the first serve % is about 50%. We can not win
by serving aces. Serve is used to set up points. However, if you have a
weak 2nd serve, you will be killed more often than not.
I do not beleive any one, in the world, have 120 mph 2nd serve.
When playing with a stronger player, your weakness will be exploited. If you

in submission as well as the authors' names ? I beleive there is a
non-disclosure agreement to restrict the reviewers. Although I believe
the original authors won't care, the reviewers may break some common

JDK1.3. Some developers said there is a 50% increase, I beleive that.
The Hotspot JIT compiler is really good. I feel even better than the
famous JBuilder JIT.
I downloaded a whole package of Hotspot, include client JIT and server side
JIT. I didn't try the server side JIT, but since the JIT is for Windows only,
who care the server JIT?
Unfortunately, there is a Windows version (both JDK1.3 and Hotspot 2.0) only. |
