The truth is, he is from APPLIED PHYSICS, NOT just
PHYSICS department. They are different department!
Applied physics at Caltech is more or less close to
EE in other school, while more focused on fundamental
things rather than technology.
So, no need to say more, you shouldn't expect such
a guy to be a real physicist.
I beleive he himself know the difference between
applied physics and physics, but just don't want
to mention it since they need this flag!

发帖数: 911 | 2 这方面的事情比较复杂. 我从理论物理所来的. 所里有两个学生练这flg. 其中一个
后来住院了, 另外一个是我多年的同学, 他练功的过程我比较了解一些.
这人进入flg是别人带进去的. 带他的那个人是个理论物理的博士后, 场论的. 近代
物理所另外一个博士后(也是场论)后来也练了这功. 这三人正好我熟悉, 平常的时候
看他们讲话也很正常,一直很奇怪他们是如何把学习物理和练习法轮这两者结合起来的.
别的我不好说, 也不知道怎么样才算得上一个物理学工作者. 不过上面这三人物理学大
概都学的比我好.
以上不是为flg辩护啊, hoho...偶只是说, 就算是纯粹理论物理的人, 也很有可能练习
flg.
