一月一号，从波士顿开车去克里夫兰，单程10个多小时。
到了目的地，办好事，找个旅馆睡了一夜。
第二天早起，开回波士顿，又是10个多小时。
去的路上，6点上路，天气比较阴沉，有些下小雨，好在当天温度还比较高，下的是雨
不是雪。
GPS导航，一直在90号洲际高速公路上开。一路上行人稀少，眺望前方，目力所及的不
过就是7，8辆
车的样子。进入纽约州，重新拿了toll ticket，一看全程，15刀多。。。听说纽约州
东西贵，果
然不虚传。天气不错，继续向前。远远在前面的车突然红灯减速，不用问马上也减速，
此刻第一个巡
警出现，是个趴在那里蹲守的。一看表，才8点多。看着这个架势不敢造次，把自动巡
行驾驶定到74
迈，反正也没有车流，正好可以借机活动活动双脚。开着开着，第二个巡警又出现了。

个，第四个，，整个在纽约州境内，差不多有十个巡警，除了第一个，都是在埋头开罚

今天要讲的是消防栓停车问题。
首先来说我的故事。那是7年前一个初夏，买了第一辆二手小车乐滋滋的去办理牌照和
注册车，从中午11点就开始进入DMV排队，拿号码，填表，再排队，后交钱，拿到牌照
和带有条形码的注册车贴之后坐地铁回家，等到家之后看表已经是下午6点了，可以看
出，纽约办理这些事情的效率如何了。当时天气依然大亮，乘着天亮，上牌照，贴上带
有条形码的注册单在前车窗上。然后在家里小区转了2圈，回来之后发现老车位没有了
，就自己找车位吧。终于找到一个，但是是消防栓附近，当我停好之后，看了看距离消
防栓大概半个车身，认为没有问题，因为消防栓在路口，消防栓另外一边就是没有车位
的。就这样，第二天上班之前兴冲冲的走到我的二手新车边，定眼一看，桔黄色的单子
插在我车窗，拿下一看说离消防栓太近。要交115美金。大半个车身我不知道多少，大

去年11月在停车场，倒车的时候把后面的车刮了，报告给了AAA. AAA告诉我他们负责，
我不要再管了。
相安无事两个月，今天被刮的车主突然联系我，让我给他$135.在我再三追问下，他才
讲了实情：
在他修车的时候，他又从hertz租了一辆车。AAA 除了给了他自己车的修理费，还有一
部分租车的费用。可是，还有$135没有cover. 他想让我给付上。
补充，
１。 他竟然租车从11.22-12.6. 整整两星期！难到他就修个前面的fender需要这么久
吗？
２。他的家距工作地方不到3mile.还有公交等其他交通工具，但是他说“there is no
way I can commute without a car, and that's why I rented a car.”
３。他额外租车的事，我直到今天才知道。事先并没有和我商量让我出钱。

Altimeters use air pressure to determine elevation, which can be affected by
too many factors, such as temperature and weather system. Any serious GPS
used for navigation has a barometer built in as a back up measure when there
is no good satellite signal (not because barometers are more accurate). In
that sense, assuming the barometer in the GPS is as good as a standalone
unit, the GPS is at least as accurate as an altimeter.

海拔和爬升，应该没有带了barometer的准倒是。不过想想连garmin 620都没有
barometer，这也不算啥了。band的软件持续改进中。目前不能接受的是没有cadence。
虽然有计步功能。我猜他们应该可以通过软件升级做到吧。 |

今天暴风雪，但因为要去公司赶个工，傍晚冒着风雪就去了，我的车是RWD的，结果公
司门前的driveway有一段上坡积雪很厚，上去就被stuck住了，上上不去，下也下不来
，除了轮子在那里使劲的打转，就是不动。最后无奈之下只能让AAA来拉。结果赶工没
赶成，在风雪里等了一个小时，还得临时充当交通指挥员，让那些行动自如的前驱车们

发帖数: 2912 | 23 和305比，我觉得310的优点有两个。一个是搜星快，另一个是海拔曲线更smooth。以前
用305即便在garmin connect里校正过的elevation也好多毛刺，最后算出来的
elevation gain/loss都特别大，肯定是错的
相比而言，910虽然单独用barometer来测海拔（别的garmin系列都用GPS来测），但是
据说barometer硬件有问题，海拔特别不准。910就是游泳什么的功能更强一些。所以貌
似最好的搭配是玩三项的用910，跑ultra的用310
单纯跑马还有路跑的话其实410最好，轻便，便宜，该有的功能也都有了 |

硬件问题
本来用barometer是为了测海拔更准，结果因为硬件问题还不如直接用GPS读数来的准。
对于跑山的ultra runner来说这是很致命的缺陷 |

该报告样本分析基于世界各地44000多名游客及酒店从业者的调查反馈得来，涵盖全球32个国家和地区，年龄涵盖18岁至65岁以上，是全球范围内规模最大的旅游业趋势预测报告，揭示了2016年全球、各地区、及各国家的旅游业发展动向。
报告说，全球69%的受访者表示想在2016年尝试不一样的旅行方式，中国受访者的这一比例高达83%，中国游客在新的一年里希望首次尝试的前三种旅行方式分别是：独自出游、邮轮游、户外游。其中80后和90后的“尝新”需求最为明显。
此外，购物仍是中国游客出游主题：有41%的中国受访者表示会在旅途中多带一个行李箱，以备购物之需，而这一比例的全球平均值仅为30%，说明购物仍是中国游客出游的主题。 |
