no reason for them to feel that they have to swing. This is not barometer
game, they had no idea that they were behind by 4 imps. They could easily
lead by 4 imps instead, and only need to push the board. It is possible that
they had misunderstanding over the 5NT bid.
I don't think 4S is a clear overbid. South did have extra value, if 3C only

As a general guideline, think of 30 inHg (1016 millibar) as being a normal
level. World records vary from a high pressure of 32.0 inHg in Siberia to 25
.7 inHg during a typhoon (both readings are off the scale of most barometers
). For the US, extreme levels can be considered as 30.5 inHg and 28.5 inHg.
When it comes to fishing, a change of just +/- 0.02 inHg from normal is
enough to effect their feeding habits.

working after 1 year---always pointing @ NE 35 +/- 5 now(maybe someone
waiting for me in that direction.....). barometer and altimeter worked out
really well from -50m to 6300m. I haven't got a chance to test'em above
6500m yet. |

. temperatures aren't accurate at all when it's worn on the wrist. time and
stop watch are standard functions on most if not all. I have a Sunnto and a
HighGear, the barometer readings can be very differnt on them at the same
spot. I have compared to a GPS a few times. Assuming GPS is more accurete,
HighGear seems to give me more accurate results. |

smartphone上的app (Backcountry Navigator,Copiot GPS,Nav Free)选择很多功能也
很强大。手机电池也能撑一整天。Smartphone似乎唯一的缺陷就是没有barometer。
请问大家现在hiking是用Garmin还是smartphone？大家会推荐啥型号的 smartphone 和
app 适合hiking用。Samsung Galaxy SIII看起来不错，但是价钱很贵。 |

carefully though, I mentioned that its barometer has design flaw and almost
never gets correct reading, which is a major reason that I discourage others
to buy it. |

Actually Ambit lacks of many good running features that Garmin has, like
instant slope display and auto-lap by location. Though some missing data
fields can be realized by loading customized equations to the watch, the
