Siyeh Pass, 9.4 miles, 2240 ft

view都没的说。For thru hikes, 你可以坐他们免费的shuttle返回。如果体力有限，

发帖数: 8405 | 42 冰川篇 -- Activities： 我们大约8点40到达西冰川，坐shuttle到Apgar后，在
visitor center 逛了逛，给小朋友的national park passport收集了印章。然后往湖
边走去，早晨湖面上有雾，还是很仙的。冰川公园我们是第一次来，感觉和我想像中不
大一样，之前听说朋友们都是来camping的，实际上冰川公园并没有我想的那么原始，
一切都很商业化。很多人来这边的lodge住上几天，放松一下。湖边很多小虫子，我们
没逛太久就走了，就在村子里溜达了一圈。
Horse riding: 公园里面有骑马的tour。这是小朋友第一次骑真的高头大马。。
。Pony ride 不算。小孩子要7岁以上才能参加，我们选了最容易的一小时团，在林子
里和湖边转了一圈。山路很平缓，马儿也很温驯，整个行程大概花了2小时。骑完马回
到Transit center已经12点了。我看肯定是赶不上2点钟的boat tour, 就打电话去
Cancel了. 这里的boat company还是好的，提前一小时通知就可以cancel 预定。

春假，早就打算好了和同学开车去Olympic和Mt Rainier两个国家公园玩。
临近了春假才看到天气预报说整个西北将会在狂风暴雪中度过。
但是既然旅馆订好了，一年能出去玩的机会也不多，于是咬咬牙还是去了。
我是沿着I90开往Seattle. 去的时候还好，只是下暴雨。
先说说Olympic吧。当天预报是有40mph的大风和暴雨、雪。去了才知道有多么可怕。
雨林里面大风将树枝刮得到处都是，最可怕的是，突然看到大树连根倒下挡住去路。
绕道而行，雨林深处几乎没有像样的路，树枝石块随处可见。
直接导致了车前部的lower engine cover和后部的两块塑料板全毁。
所幸没有伤到重要的部分。
（后来赶去dealer修理，修车的人震惊的说您这是开哪儿去了，花了200多全换掉）

不过，这个hike的山顶，风景无限好，360度的环看North Cascades 山脉绵绵,比北
边的Mt. Pilchuck只有余。
一路上的风景也很多样化，从起始的在林子树荫里，途径几个冬季的Avalanche
Valleys, 慢慢到灌木植被，最后以大理石上建的瞭望屋结束。
再加上沿途的野生蓝莓正是采摘季节，所以此时不去，何时去？ |

有一年4月在Glacier 的AValanch LAke,那个trail 算非常容易的，几个地方都是从树
上爬过去的。 |
