code review为什么不行？code review是最快的方式找bug了。我bugbash的时候一天
code review可以发现20多个bug。
minor UI automation为什么不行？做一个简单的UI automation就是半个小时的事，用
工具做load test马上就可以开始。根本不会花多少时间。
Logging主要是对系统进行分析。bugbash的时候出了什么问题，logging是有效快速的
分析方法。
当然这都是open discussion了。如果是我的话，我就会提出这些建议。我不觉得哪个
不可行了。 |

我现在是test automation developer,programming的时间还占工作的大部分，但是都
是tester的环境，没有software developer那种"正规"的开发，也不对代码风格，还有
设计模式等等那么些要求，去大公司做SDET是不是有点悬？
我参加过salesforce的interview,问了很多算法，代码阅读，现场编程，算复杂度，讨
论设计模式等等内容，这些东西是不是超出做sdet的范畴了？
大家平时知道的sdet都是什么出身啊？是不想继续开发的sdet还是有很多人从tester转
过来的？和那些sde出身的竞争是不是很吃亏？
还有如果我想转Java开发的话，要学什么？我现在用Java做automation的开发，自我感
觉对语言本身还算熟悉，但是那些j2ee,spring等等框架都没接触，这样的话去应聘
java 开发靠谱么？

没有business也能运作，基础的production还是得大量engineer写，没法automate。
对ds就影响很大，中低端的ds的job基本会被这种两样都会的人automate。
当然真正大牛中的大牛ds，还是可以活得很好，毕竟最尖端的还需要人去分析，但本来
各行各业的顶层就都活得不错，差距在于中低层，谁活得好，谁会被homeless |

熟悉(实在不敢用精通这个字眼)Python，C++； 有较多nix shell script的经验。有一
年开发web APP的经验，所用工具和语言是: Django, CouchDB, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/
jQuery。
刷lc有些困难，但基本还能啃下来，特别是用Python的时候。
只有一年的工业界QA/Tester背景，但用的是自产的automation tool。熟悉JIRA。
尝试找TE、QA的位置，语言面试(不过至今也仅面了Python)一般没有问题，但是多因为
automation的tools，像selenium之类的并没有实际经验，而没有下文。
现在想干脆找软工的位置也许好些，不过市面上的entry 或者junior level的软工都仅
对fresh gradute开放，行情也是不太好。
还请组内有相关需求的国人xdjm内推。俺有卡，住湾区，
曾想过去学Java，可是这个想法被一个猎头打击后就没有继续。市面上有太多的会Java

里去了，我和他谈笑风生。你们呀，TOO SIMPLE， SOMETIMES NAIVE!
就说烙印吧，当年我实习时候的MENTOR，自己坑坑坑用SHELL码出来一个UI AUTOMATION
TEST FRAMEWORK。结果后来不知道从哪里来了一个女阿三，不知道怎么着就上位抢了
他的test manager的位置，然后把他的东西统统推翻，换了一个无比难用的基于RUBY的
UI AUTOMATION测试框架。后来这MENTOR就被气跑了。最近还在试图拉我入伙。然后这
个女阿三上位后就不知道从哪里拉来一堆女阿三QA，都是一行都不会码的。以前我们还
有TEST ENGINEER， 现在就只有人手测试的QA了。
去年我的TECH LEAD,一看就是老实人，受气包三个字就写在脸上那种。基本不邀功，每
次大佬找他谈话就俨然一副杨白劳的样子。。别人给他什么烂活就接什么，不过也不怎
么往下扔，自己手下人不爱做或者没BANDWIDTH做就自己吭哧吭哧做。。其实好多技术

看了版上很多贴，好像没有人是介绍在美国做IT的生活，于是忽然很想写写自己在湾区
当程序员的生活，算是给大家介绍另一个方面的美国。
楼主是2007年来的美国读计算机的博士，2011年底拿到一个小公司的offer，以硕
士身份开始工作，同时保留学籍，做parttime学生，2013年1月第一次跳槽，同年5月博
士毕业， 2014年10月再次跳槽，然后在当前公司干到现在。三年多的时间，我能感受
到这个全球最有想法，生活节奏最快的地方欣欣向荣的活力。在这里有梦想，有努力，
有汗水， 有眼泪。这里不是天堂，因为这里的房价简直让人崩溃。这里又是最好的淘
金地，因为它有那么多一夜暴富的例子，我希望能够用我贫瘠的文笔向大家展示这里的
生活百态，或者，IT圈子里的生活百态。
