你这是典型的美国民族政策，美国移民局叫归化局，就是让移民必须归化
到主流社会和文化中，移民要适应美国文化。由于美国没有主体民族的概
念，对外来移民来说，这种归化是基于国家的文化，所以抵触情绪还不算
太大。你的想法，对你来说可以接受，但是从少数民族的观点来看，这种
归化就是向汉族的归化，所以很容易产生抵触心理。“让他们不觉得作为
少数民族有什么好”?这句话太arrogant了吧?
相比美国的移民政策而言,加拿大的移民局就叫做移民局,民族政策比美国
要开放和宽容的多.加拿大的政策是鼓励多元文化,也就是说鼓励移民和各
民族保留自己的文化和传统,这点和美国的对待移民政策有很大不同,加拿
大的政策远远没有美国那么agreesive,也没有直接宣扬要求各民族或者移民
放弃自己的传统归化到主流中。这种温和的政策反而容易让移民和各民族
感觉comfortable并建立加拿大的归属感。魁北克问题是几百年来遗留的
历史问题，即使这样加拿大仍然坚持多元文化政策。加拿大的族裔之间
融洽程度相对于美国来说要好得多，很大程度上得益于多元文化的政策。

You couldn't even argue there are nuclear engineering programs in top
universities. This is more relevant to the nuclear radiation and nuclear
