a few suggestions and corrections:
get "in" the car, not get "up" the car
"Figured out that" should be "Knowing that" here. "cannot afford to delay
the act" should not be part of this sentence, the subject here is "...
something", it's better to just say "I am sure you would agree that this is
something which requires teachers and parents' immediate attention".
then "to" the teachers, don't omit the "to".
"sharps"? "sharp objects" is the common phase here.

Monk Klutter, king wherever he strolls, is bested by nobody. At least, that's
what he tells himself while pounding loudly from the inside of Priscilla
Roseberry’s locker door. Not that he would actually have much problem
getting out, of course. If he didn’t manage to pummel the locker enough to
