我理解amortized analysis就是针对一系列操作，分析他们的平均时间复杂度。即使其
中某一个操作可能很费时，但是平均下来可能时间复杂度并不大。
但是我不理解的地方是，比如在fibonacci heap中，我们是不是也应该针对一系列操作
，计算平均时间复杂度。但是我看到书中往往拿某一个操作，比如DECREASE-KEY操作的
amortized cost和binary heap中相应操作的worst case下的时间复杂度比较。这样比
较有意义吗？如果是单纯比较某一个操作，为什么不都拿worse case下的时间复杂度进
行比较呢？

用amotized和worse比是有意义的，其实我认为amortized analysis就是更全局的worse
case analysis。 |

如果30年fixed，利率4%，那么算出来月付是$2,387.08，按amortization算，15年后总
付款$429,674.40，其中归属于利息$252,387.83，归属于本金$177,286.57。本金剩余
balance为$322,714.00。
如果20年fixed，利率4%，那么算出来月付是$3,029.90，按amortization算，15年后总
付款$545,382.00，其中归属于利息$209,903.15，归属于本金$$335,478.85。本金剩余
balance为$164,520.84。
可以看出，因为银行采用amortization计算，前面几年的付款基本都归于利息部分，也
就是说整个term的总利息大部分在前面几年的时间付掉了，后面几年付的利息少很多。
30年term相比于20年term，每月少付$642.82，前面十五年付的钱总共少11万，但里面
归为利息的部分（也就是损失）占了约60%，比20年term（利息部分占付款约35%）还多
损失了5万利息。

amortize each month = 54000/12 = 4500
开始N/P balance = 446000
after amortize for 5 months, N/P balance = 446000+4500 X 5 = 468500.
后面amortization的journal entry我觉得是：
DR: Interest expense 4500
CR: Discount on N/P 4500
这个每个月Discount on N/P 就是对N/P balance的调整

定资产折旧？如果是，那EBITA里面的Amortization又代表什么呢？看看我这样的理解
对不对:
Amortization and depreciation are non-cash expenses on a company's income
statement. Depreciation represents the cost of capital assets on the balance
sheet being used over time, and amortization is the similar cost of using
intangible assets like goodwill over time.
Depreciation 对应的是每年固定资产折旧。amortization 对应的是无形资产折旧。

My understanding is that 30y amortized ARM has similar rate with 15y fixed
mortgage. If you pay the mortgage as if it is amortized 15 years (i.e. pay
extra principal every month than ARM required payments), there is not much
difference, at least at the beginning 5,7 years. But these two provides
different types of flexibility:
ARM has the flexibility not to pay that high monthly, but fixed rate
mortgage requires borrower to pay high. |

instead of 30 years, because fully amortizing ARM is the same as 30 years
in terms of amortization, but rate is more competitive.
Or if you are not quite sure (房贷准备7-10年还清), 15 year give you a peace
of mind and flexibility (in case one person lose the job, extra child
eduction cost,unexpected medical bill, etc).
There are two different ARM: a Fully Amortizing ARM and an Interest Only ARM.

你重新Amortize。具体情况如下：
1）每个月要付的mortgage amount是不变的。
2）每个月付的mortgage payment 里面本金增加，利息减少。
3）贷款的付清的年限会缩短。假设原来还款年限是X, 缩短后的年限是Y,提前还的数额
是Z。（X-Y）*Monthly Mortgage > Z。
关于Amortization Schedule， 可以参考这篇文章。 根据您的具体情况套进去计算以
后每个月的还款情况，就有个更清楚的理解了。

等，但至今还没开始贷款。
以前的会计从3月就开始amortize这些费用了，觉得不妥。我查了好多，但没有找到直
接的GAAP rule。一般是要拿到贷款后，才开始amortize 至还贷结束。
问题：1.没有买直接相关的accounting rule,我找到一个FAS 91是管理lending
activity。
2.从3月份到6月的amortized的费用，怎么办呢？

NI = (R - COGS - SGA - Dep - Amort - Int) - Tax
= (R - COGS - SGA - Dep - Amort - Int)*(1 - t)
= (R - COGS - SGA - Dep - Amort) * (1-t) - Int(1-t)
= EBIAT - Int(1-t)
= NOPLAT - Int(1-t)
FCF = EBIAT + NCC - FcInv - WcInv
= NI + Int (1-t) + NCC - FcInv - WcInv
用语言叙述，Depr 是从来都没有花出去的现金，但是计算NI时被减掉了，所以必须加
回来。
也可以从另外一个角度理解：Int * (1-t) 可以理解为：流向债权人的现金流也是要计
算税后的。 |

Amortization的payments include principal part and interest part.
Non-amortizing payments contain only periodic interest(coupon) payments
and a final principal payment.
Honestly, you should google it first, because it's a very basic concept. |

1, 2, 3 都可以说是利润，但要看了。那个6.91肯定是乱算的。
但是中铁更重要的是cash flow from operation。

木匠下班有雅兴找鸡打炮花的钱也是增殖的一部分。都在家具的价钱里。
大炮可能开不出发票不能退税，锤斧锯凿都应该有增值税发票的。可能需要
amortization 但是amortize这个概念他不一定能领会。 |

Enter all the info and play with the numbers any way you want. Like I
mentioned before, it's a good idea to bring your laptop with you when

as the principle, and after 6 months, pay 2c and you finish all payment.
but really, the rate is very low now, like from 2@3yrs (mine was 1.99%) and
three year interest is about 400.
you can google a mortgage amortization spreadsheet (only change the time
span to 3-5 yrs instead of 15-20 yr) and you can see the amortization.
for simple monthly payment calculation, you can goto many online calculator
(e.g., kbb).

如果是用stack的话，stack最长要能存储树的最长路径
最坏情况长度为n，最优为lgn
那么用递归的话，如果空间需要考虑stack的话，递归算不算inplace？
如果我们认为递归的stack开销不考虑，那么，我假设在这个树递归函数里面maintain
了一个local变量
那么因为这个函数在单核情况下，同一时间最多被调用n次，最少lgn次。那么这个算法
算是inplace么？（毕竟这里用到的额外内存为lgn ~ n 个）
还有，书上那个stack的分析是Amortized analysis
难道inplace也可以说是Amortized inplace?
