他们两个从BIG E 时代对抗到现在，除了ray 击败Iverson得了big
E冠军，他中规中矩的，不如Allen Iverson有spot light.
现在媒体企图塑造这样一个两Allen 对抗形象，犹如76ers/raptors
的rivalry系列，刺激看客的观战欲，所以let's go allen!
东部的两个队都不是全面平衡的队，Iverson的76ers虽然抢下了不少
季后奖，但几乎还是一个Iverson的一人队。虽然现在McKie 有点火
爆，但是在小艾不能完全发挥的条件下的分流。Mutombo
就只有bucks这种没有中锋的队能让他扬威几把。bucks更不用说，就
靠big three，靠外围高命中率高得分击垮对手。没有内线。
看了几场，更坚定冠军从西来的想法。

了解篮球的人看到Allen fieldhouse的名字,就知道这是以Forrest C. "Phog" Allen命名
的体育馆. Phog有多牛,用"Father of Basketball Coaching" 这么个词就足以形容了.
有争议的不用跟我争,这是篮球名人堂的说法.

当时建造Allen Fieldhouse的时候还颇费了些功夫,倒不是因为建筑本身有多大难度. 堪
萨斯州在40年代即有计划要建一座体育场馆,从州里拿到这2.5million就颇费周折. 随着
二战带来的物资短缺,设计和建筑都陷于停顿. 好了, 二战终于结束了, 工人们开始浇桩.
诺大的场地上打了998个桩, 水泥也灌上了, 这时候朝鲜战争又开始了. 一切重新陷于停

目前是，学校经过重新划片，是cheatham-Curtis-lowery-allenhigh。 Cheatham的小
学2010年才开张，目前什么评分都查不到，我agent说差不了，因为周围的房子都那么
贵，汗。初中是curtis，在allen东边，除了cheatham，其他几个升Curtis的都是东
allen的小学，评分是9-10分不等。目前看，Curtis比Ereckson（这个在西allen）差一
些，下面lowery和allen high大家都上一样的，allen地区的就不用比较了。 |

一个要上1年级
的孩子，双方老人相隔几个月会轮流来带上几个月，5000尺的房子没敢想过 ：）最近
看的4+
bedroom的大多都在3500-4000尺左右。
能不能具体讲讲ALLEN的中学哪方面稍微差点儿？在greatschools.net上看，curtis,
ereckson
两个初中和allen high分数貌似不比plano差啊？我们经纪倒没提过这个，她说allen,
frisco,plano都不错。我们没在考虑frisco是觉得好像远了点，交通没有allen和plano
方便。 |

terms of absolute numbers and percentage, and you have to decide if you like
it or not. But more and more chinese moves in Allen now.
Allen ISD is famous for its football and cheerleader team. the football team won a national championship in 5A division about 4 years ago. But i don't think it
matters to Chinese.
Academically, I think Allen ISD was a notch lower than some Plano schoool in the past, they are kind of even now. |

大家都在使劲上AP,IB课试图拿高GPA,都失去做TEENAGER的乐趣了~
不过这样出来也好因为COLLEGE CREDIT都拿了,上大学的时候起步点也比别人高
我是ALLEN HIGH SCHOOL毕业的,我刚上ALLEN的时候整个学校就没有几个亚洲人,也没有
几个黑人,全是富白人.那会,学校的体制很好,但是老师也不咋样,学生笨的也多,都忙着
攀比谁妆漂亮衣服好看男朋友/女朋友HOT去了,上AP IB课的那些人也很笨,老师能教好
也不一定能起很大的作用.然后那时候ALLEN的AP,IB课没有PLANO那边的全.不过我觉得
现在应该好多了.ALLEN HIGH SCHOOL一年比一年挤,一年比一年DIVERSE.
另外,IVY LEAGUE有啥好?又远又贵!UT多好~?性价比多好,又追求全方面发展,校风好,出
来的孩子都活生生的很活泼.美国人并没有中国人这么注重大学的"牌子" |

,比Plano还是不如,至少还有十年的工夫才能赶上吧.如果你小孩现在刚上小学,选这俩
比Plano好.
说说这倆的不足吧.Allen只有一所高中,但是东allen比较烂,所以东西合校对小孩会有
些影响.Frisco的问题是高中都比较新. |

个人所能比，防守看去年总决赛和kobe的对位就知道了。 在去波士顿之前allen绝对比
pp要强很多。 allen比较遗憾的地方是一直没有太好的内线合作者，kg是第一个，也是
唯一的一个，可以说是人生并不平坦。之前在雄鹿的三个火枪手：allen，格伦罗宾逊
，卡塞尔
后来在超音速的刘易斯等都都不是内线球员。。
说到这kobe蜜别郁闷，kobe的命算是球员里面顶级的了，前有鲨鱼，现在又有小白和
gasol，前者名人堂，后俩者也是全明星。。。。。。。 t-mac是个loser，有这么好的
yao居然到现在都过不了第一轮。 |

年，allen一直是主力。而且从来是绝杀的主要选择。当年和公牛的季后赛我觉得是
allen生涯最辉煌的系列。即使是最后一年，变替补也有很大的伤病原因。
allen不缺戒指，不缺历史地位，当时去任何队都比现在钱多，降薪50%去原死敌打替补
真是满

always high on traffic. and I'm thinking Allen has cheaper houses, not too
sure. if you have a kid, Plano high schools are better in my opinion, Allen
has only one high school and when I went there, I didn't like it, not
diversed at all and school and faculty puts little attention on minorities |

75024 75025，就是PLANO。如果在ALLEN，也许能
买到80的，比如5000尺的40万，估计能买到，但在
PLANO基本没系，因为PLANO没地盖新房子了，10年
新在PLANO已经算很新的了，ALLEN因为还有大片的
地，新房子还很多，所以能砍价。
还有，如果你的娃上小学，这3个地方都不错，小学
都很好。如果上中学，ALLEN就稍微差点儿了。PLANO
和FRISCO都不错，PLANO略好。。 |

相比之下,华人大多选allen, 因为离中国城近. 虽然很多人在southlake 上班. |

发帖数: 448 | 45 最近在换房子,做了一些分析. 关于学区的个人感觉:
1. PLANO 目前还是最好的;
2. FRISCO 在上升, 会成为下一个PLANO;
3. ALLEN 不错, 但是只有一个高中, 而东ALLEN 有点太烂;
4. FRISCO 应该会在5-10年左右赶上甚至超过PLANO;
5. 如果要上PLANO, 现在唯一的选择几乎就是走RICE->JASPER->PLANO SENIOR HIGH;
建议(个人观点):
如果小孩已经上初中又不怕和老中老印竞争, 选PLANO. 如果小孩还在上小学甚至更小,
选FRISCO学区 (西ALLEN也不错,但是房子偏贵). |

会更糟糕了. |

高尔夫球场，playground。不太清楚east allen的学区怎么样，不过小学中学rating你
都可以在网上查到的。 |

另外Glen Allen这里对应的有两个高中，你要是愿意考虑Glen Allen High的话，选择的
余地会大一些
据说很多老美愿意选择Glen Allen High，虽然老中一般偏爱deep run |
