中国文化的核心，就是君臣父子等级社会，这种社会是自上而下的，一个多层 spoke－
hub 结构，就像自行车轮子辐条spoke。皇帝/首都高高在上，是个根节点，控制所有资
源。下面分叉成 省－市－县－镇。每一级都有一个 hub，每一个hub都对应一定的政治
经济特权。
我观察发现，高铁这种落后的交通方式，特别适合这种落后的社会结构。比如我老家，
就是一个最低等级的终端。都是危房，漏雨漏水，残破不堪。村里的傻冒年轻人，在家
乡也挣不到钱。只好进城打工，或者当保安，或者加入城里的机动车盗窃团伙。家乡也
没有像样的大学，必须到北京去。比如我以XX县第一名的优异成绩，考入了北师大化学
系。必须到北京去，才有更好的教育资源。我在北京，有一次遇到一个山东的访民，家
里房子被地方政府强拆，上访到北京。虽然我怀疑北京也不会管，但等级社会就是这样
运行的，北京才有足够的政治资源。每天有大量的中国人，要流动到县城，省城，京城
。高铁就非常适合这种从家乡到省城京城的来回运输。
美国只有三层行政，按我的观察，是一个自下而上的平民自治社会，网状 mesh结构。

各种高税费，各种奇葩政策法律，各种官僚主义+腐败，各种庞大冗员办事效率奇差的
政府机构。。。
在Albany，以Cuomo为首的一帮左棍把持州议会，可以说是为所欲为
NYC华尔街灯红酒绿，而广大纽约上州地区的经济每况愈下。听说过全美最严厉的枪支
法SAFE吗？差一点点连买子弹都要background check了（此条由于过于奇葩后来被drop
了），其他就不说了，连可伸缩的枪托都成了“assault rile”的衡量标准之一，尼玛
真无语。。左棍议会们每每把仅适用于NYC的法案强加于全纽约州，尼玛Cuomo你干脆带
着你在Albany的那帮人一起搬去NYC独立算了。
由于是所谓深蓝州，所以总统大选时支持GOP的纽约客都很郁闷，反正投了也没啥用（
我身边就有一个郁闷的GOP朋友搬去了OH）。

早晨7点40出发
在Albany逗留一个小时左右；
事情办完，立马往回开，9点10到家。
全程654mile，去的时候GPS是shorter distance跑了不少山路，然后在I-88上面经历一
个多小时的大暴雨。然后被一骑摩托的红脖竖中指，WS了一吧。
回来的时候GPS设置shorter time，一路interstate, 88,81,80,99.碰见了一起车祸，
两起路边爆胎，5个超速被警察逮。最后一个是快到家门口的时候看到的，不算高速上
的。I-80上面条子真是多啊，特别是有小岔路的转弯处。 |

圣诞节前那个周末，12月22日晚上，在一个聚会上喝了酒，凌晨驾车回家，因为车速过
高，并且喝了酒后大脑反应速度下降，追尾了一辆老款Acura MDX
那天晚上开的途锐出去，吸能的MDX比较惨，后面基本褶完了，副驾驶的女人似乎受到
一些撞击，后来被救护车送到医院了。途锐只是前保险杠和grille还有一侧大灯坏了，
没有什么形变。
警察来了，要求测试酒精，然后让我回到车里。他回到警车里开始run我的驾照和各种
信息，数分钟后，又来了两辆警车，一共四个警察来到我的车前。让我step out of
vehicle and turn around，其中一个警察说you are under arrest for driving
under influence, you will be taken back to police station now, and we will
take it from there.

发帖数: 715 | 48 美国的房子默认就是unfurnished的，也就是不带任何家具的。有少数房东可能因为工
作地点调动的关系，想把房子快速出租出去，这时候才可能是带家具的。
另外，如果要买家具的话，我有两个建议：
（1）不要去宜家，因为性价比太低。就算去越南家具店，也比宜家强多了。
（2）刚来尽可能少买家具，把家具数目限定在最基本需要就可以了。因为事后你过了
一两年对湾区更熟以后，肯定会对当初买家具不满意。这时候留着觉得恶心自己，处理
掉却麻烦而且也舍不得。
