发帖数: 1989 | 6 Yesterday I tried RUSH 50 and got unlucky (play two tables, one table down
two mini Buy-in; the other up 1 mini Buy-in+) and went to try RUSH 25.
Surprisingly RUSH 25 is extremely soft. I play around 100 hand/session(two
tables together). Won one mini-buyin/100 hand in the first 5 consective
sessions (hands are kinds of dry actually, just too many fishes). It is around/aft mid-night. Majority players are from EU/Aus. Lots of fishes.
However, I down two mini-buyin in last 2 additional sessions. |

Since I thought my fore-aft balance was my worst part of skiing, I asked Jay
to focus on it on the last day of the camp. I knew I needed to pull back my
feet at turn transition to get me forward, but I always had problem
incorporating this moving in my skiing. I also asked Jay if we should do
some tipping drills, but Jay said my tipping was good (relatively speaking
of course). So fore-aft balance became the theme of the day.

开上500-1000miles的，如何再换一次ATF。
不能自己这样换，那就到dealer那里换了。
我自己就有个2008 Civic，现在刚刚过了60k。我就是自己换了ATF3次。在没有换AFT之
前，明显的感到了车在从30mph滑行到0 mph的时候，减速会加剧，停下来不是匀速的。
换了AFT之后，这个小问题就没了，车子也能滑行很远的距离。 |

Geico赔我2000刀的diminished value。基本达到了我的目的。
事件处理的过程分享给大家做个参考。
1) Geico从始至终不承认事故车有diminished value这个事实。不愿意make any
settlement。背后的原因（我猜）是他们在我所在的城市有全职律师专门负责打官司，
上庭对他们没有额外的cost。
2）据此，我选择了和律师合作。和律师谈的deal是：赢了，他拿走1/3；输了，他不收
任何费用。
3）我没有通过律师找appraisal，因为他提到他找的appraisal出庭要按时间收取一定
的费用，financial risk太高。所以我是在网上找的的http://www.avrecovery.com。他家收费是appraisal报告220刀，后面电话出庭免费。事后证明该appraisal的上庭经验和专业知识都很丰富。没有给Geico留下任何可challenge的地方。

fantastic camp and I learned a lot from Jay. A few things are truly eye-
opening. What I think was my best area (flexion/extension) is actually my
worst, and what I think was my worst area (fore-aft balance) is actually
not that bad. Also I realize I did some of the release moves (two-footed

对脚底应该是一个动态的Fore/Aft(前后）外加左右的转换的Movement。对于初学者来
说，最常见的错误就是锁死在Aft（backseat）的状态而导致没法左右换刃。我给的
drill就是帮助练习这个动态过程的。

accelerated failure time model（parametric model不止这一种，不过我估计你指的
是这个）本身没有hazard ratio这个概念，它的研究对象是accelerated failure time
，好比说，肺癌病人吃了新研发出来的药物A，那么他的生存时间会比吃老的药物B的病
人长20%。hazard ratio不能这样理解。
在AFT假设了Weibull distribution（exponential是Weibull的一种特殊情况）的时候
，AFT的结果，可以转化成hazard ratio（自然也就可以用hazard ratio的
interpretation），这是它的一个数学特性。怎么转化，自己去看SAS Help里的公式。
其他distribution，没有这个特性，也就不能转化成hazard ratio。
同学，如果你是学生统或统计的，那么还是回去仔细看看讲义再做作业吧，把概念搞清
楚是应用的基础。 |

Science. Wouldn't that get him a job in the US? If he couldn't get a job in
the US even with a Science paper, there may be something else with him.
Another thing is, I think what he did was nothing but a publicity stunt,
