我晚上接到电话,赶紧奔过去了.小白的伤势不轻,猫妈妈又完全不管.我带了猫奶,按照
youtube上手法,给小白喂了不少奶,小白吃过奶后似乎有劲点了,叫的特响.
然后我回到家后,我LG立刻带着小白去看了急诊.医生看过,说是背上的皮是被大的动物
也撕裂的,either别的大猫或者狗.医生告诉我们这么小的猫猫是需要全天候的照顾的,
还需要手术.每天的护理费预计在500美元左右.
我和我LG无法承担这笔费用,每天500美元,这对我们来说是天文数字了.于是我们带着小
白又回来了,现在小白在毛巾里睡的很香,我刚才给他灌了不少奶,都喝进去了.然后还把
他尿过了,尿了不少.
今天晚上发生太多事情,弄的我LG都火了,一路上差点发生车祸,急诊所的医生简直就是
敲诈....等等,总之,弄的我们半夜还在赶路.在急诊所里,医生给清理了伤口,然后用订

既然帖子上首页了，我就借用这里放宣传。
总之就是告诫路过的人，看见丢了的猫猫狗狗，不要随便报警或者找animal control。那些动物进的shelter就像是流水屠宰线，一头进去，另一头只有凤毛麟角最幸运的能出来。麻烦你用一点时间，在网上搜一下当地的rescue或者no-kill shelter，那怕是找亲朋好友寄养一下，然后
igslist找领养，都能给宠物留下一线生机。

What practical difference this distinction makes?
1)This cat can be adopted as a pet. Since a feral is not socialized to human

估为不adoptable的就直接被安乐了。好像HSPCA也是。因为资源是一定的，所以余额多
的时候评估就松一点，余额紧评估肯定就紧。再乖的猫猫也难说。送进去就再也由不得
你了。
其实真正non-kill的shelter太少了。有也很难进得去（包括民间的rescue）。同样道
理，资源有限啊。
我在petfinder上找了找houston地区的cat welfare group，找到这几个。你可以打电
话问问.

别小还不能adopt的才会找foster先接手。
你要是看着好的，shelter也认为很快就会被领养的，应该不会foster出去。因为去你
家了的话，别人去shelter就看不到了。不少人就是直接去shelter，看到对眼的就直接
adopt了。
一般shelter adopt会有一两周让你感觉一下的。记得去看狗的时候，一定要全家所有
人都去看。 |

美国这个地方吧，什么都好，就是转基因食品太多！
生活在美国，如果你不想吃转基因食品，那也不是不可能，但还是有相当难度的。我本
人不是研究转基因的专家，但对转基因却非常关心。美国超市里有转基因食品上市了，
方舟子和崔永元又打起来了，这样的时候，我都要跑去看看热闹。美国政府在2015年初
批准转基因苹果（北极苹果）在美国上市之后，我过段时间就去超市转一圈，很想亲眼
看看转基因苹果是什么样子，但到目前我还没有见过转基因苹果，更没有吃过转基因苹
果。我等得都有点急了。现在中国国内有句讽刺人的话：你就是吃转基因的命，操转基
因的心！我还真是这样的人。
转基因食品是否安全？对这个问题，挺转派（主要是农业生物公司和很多学生物的人）
和反转派（主要是有机农业及部分追随者）争得不可开交。我个人认为，目前市场上的
