w********9 发帖数: 8613 | 1 "Kindly" can be used as an adjective. It can be interchangeable with "kind".
Their subtle difference (to which few people would pay attention ==>
forget it!) between the two words is well explained in Webster third
international dictionary.
"A kindly reminder" is a common expression. "A friendly reminder" seems more
common.
Another example (from American Oxford Dictionary) is "kindly weather/climate

"kindly skill" was also accepted. |
