我对自己的技术不够自信，而且算是要换一个领域，虽然用的方法差不多，所以心里很
没底。
决心好好学习技术，但是有点担心一开始不能impress老板，后来就很能改观他对你的

gifted是老天给的gift, 与生俱来的能力. gifted的人天资高,如果努力,
很容易成功.东边不亮西边亮,总有一处能亮. 就算不是十分努力,也能当个
小学老师. 除非太不努力,太没追求,才会一团糟.
high acheiver就不一样了. 顾名思义是非常能够acheive的人.不管是
不是真聪明,是不是gifited, 但是肯定是努力了. 在学习和工作上,
至少付出了成功需要的努力,没有放任自流,没有浪费机会.
gifted只是让成功来得相对容易,但并不能保证成功.
而high acheiver则是不达成功不罢休的.
我们家长要做的,就是让自己的孩子成为high achiever. |

我跟我LD一个学校读书，资历背景年龄都差不多，我很快学会的
东西，他要捉摸很久。打牌下棋都不如我。可是最后还是他更有成就。
就因为他更努力。
找工作的时候，我要一个一个简历的投，他简历都没投过一份，那时候也
没有linkedin, 没贴过monster, 却有领头公司的
人事部门管挖星的HR写信邀请他去面试。
所以我也觉得gifted不是决定性的，只能提供一个便利。关键
是努力。努力了能当high achiever, 不够努力的只能打酱油。
当然gifted好处还是有点的。眼光准。我是第一个发现我LD很有潜力的人。
在默默无闻的时候，连他自己都没有意识到他的潜力。我就知道他
一定会acheive high。
我现在教孩子也是经常鼓励她努力。父母就像两面镜子，告诉她
努力，聪明和high acheiver之间的关系，
不过今天早上我伤了她的心。她很兴致勃勃得说奥巴马怎么怎么，
我听到这个名字就气，跟她说奥巴马是个混蛋，他昨天刚说学校
要按照肤色录取，我们华人在美国需要付出比黑人多好几倍的努力。

大学的基础课程基本上都在上午，下午两点半以后的可能性大大降低，但是你可以去查
你家附近的大学科表，如果能够找到合适的，那就可以试试。
大学课程的学分跟高中ap课程的学分应该是一样的，不会加倍。
1.3million给不了几个孩子花，大学课程很贵的。所以这个option基本上不会影响学校
为high achiver减少其他机会。high acheiver的机会是否减少，通常是看special
need的需求是否增大， 如果增大，就会砍掉high achiever的预算。

我就是有点不积极，干啥都提不起兴趣，这种态度决定了不会积极主动地去学习和解决
问题，这些都瞒不过人，身边的人是能察觉到的。
现在去一个新地方，不想再像以前那样了，想积极主动起来，但是又担心以前多年没怎
么好好学习专业知识，即使有个好的态度，技术知识上的不足难以短期补上来。

师只能来这里再求助大家了，希望大家能不吝赐教。
我的rfe信上来是把EB1B的6条列了一下，没有像大家那样逐条肯定或是要求你补充什么
材料，就是6条标准原文，然后加了一句说evidence要证明满足2条，能证明
internationally outstanding。接下来有3小段很specifically要求submit evidence
证明什么3年以上experience，还有公司有三个以上research position还要w-2什么的
，还有公司acheivement， 我的title等等。请问我这种case要怎么回复好，除了那三
个要求submit的项目外，其他的要怎么办呢?我还要再补充新的evidence证明我
outstanding吗？比如再加推荐信什么的。原来提交过的材料还能再用吗？
我的officer是TSC的xm382，感觉我的材料他根本就没看:(.自己以为在这里看了很多大

kind chilly outside.I dont live in CA or FL. you are right. It feels like a
year when I'm on treadmill. I still like it because it's easy to keep track
of the distance and calories you've acheived.there wont' be huge variations
of data every day. And I can wear whatever I want. Running outside in the
sunshine is nice,too.I dont have the luxury to do it for 50% of the year. |
