RFE对我没有提任何问题,但是要求公司出示很多详细资料。
目前最头疼的就是achieved documented accomplishments in the field.(我们公司是
香料化学类。)

fresh phd本来工程经验就少,都是些research prototype或internship project,算
不上多成功或多失败。
如果被问most significant accomplishments,难道就说自己最喜欢的一个research
project?还是说最复杂的一个project,但是是几年之前的?
还有,怎么回答failure呢?说project中曾经出现的讨厌的bug?还是说实现做实验之
后发现自己的idea不够好,然后又改进自己的idea,再实现做实验?
问题可能比较弱,求指教!

我在公司的一个remote site工作,team只有10个人左右,好说歹说让公司办EB-1B,公
司律师说要提供team有documented research accomplishments的证据,弱问必须是同
一个team或者business unit么?总部有很多researcher行么?多谢!

下面是一封申请EB2 NIW I-140的petition letter的范例。这是多年前公开发表在
MITBBS“落地生根”版上的一个帖子。现在重贴于此,供大家参考。
个人点评:EB2 NIW的申请是技术活,满足NIW的三个方面都必须论证到位,否则就通过
不了;而且论证过程中,有些关键词必须出现在移民官的视野里。这封petition
letter基本上达到了这几方面的要求。更难能可贵的是,这封petition letter的后面
,还列出了所有的exhibit,值得参考。

由于本人的case比较弱,所以现在是EB1A 跟NIW 一起准备着。已经差不多写好了EB1A
的petition letter,开始准备NIW。看了几篇模板,发现有些疑问。
1. NIW 不需要列表格,油灯图等吗?为什么我看到的模板都没有这些,只有Exhibit?
2. EB1A的petition条理比较清楚,比方说我要claim三项,就从1,2,3几方面阐述。
但是NIW怎么感觉条理比较混乱呀?
请有经验的前辈指点迷津,小女子不胜感激!

为了答谢April妹妹,我把我的PL传在这里了。也为我的485申请攒人品。其实我的PL是
完全照抄Aprilmm的。因为我是两个小孩的妈,还要上班,根本没时间搞绿卡申请,3月
20多号的时候,我要到一个地方开会3天,我就把April mm和版上另外一个人的PL打印
出来,带去开会了。除了我present那天,我就在旅馆写这个了。完全是以April mm的
做模版。同时给几个人发要推荐信,我的两个老板的,是我自己写好,他们签名的,两
个独立推荐人是他们自己写的。这里也感谢他们很快的回复,现在一看,我3月24号完
成的PL,4月6号就submit了,非常感谢他们!

How Manager rank employee
Having gone through “first” wave, I can assure that it’s never a pleasant
discussion. Ranking peers is labors effort and time/energy sapping one. You
might have made great contribution but when those tasks are not on my
priority list; I won’t consider them as best effort because you made no
difference where it really matters. I don’t stop you from spending long
hours on those tasks because I hope that at end, you might come up with
