of Car A is damaged. For my car, bumper is seriously damaged, then was gone
when driving back. The trunk can't be closed. I have called my insurance
company (Geico), it said the first choice is I need call Car A's insurance
company to deal with this accident.

发帖数: 1963 | 7 新车，上一个6月保险周期里发生两次小accident，一次hit别人（那车几乎没损伤，没
经验，不懂得第一时间私了），一次停车场hit and run，没找到肇事者，保险不给报
uninsured，只好动用collision，自己花deductible，保险出另外的$600。
现在的6个周期的保费涨额如下：
6 month premium $600=$400 (original price) + $130 (caused by the $850 repair
cost of hitting another car and one accident history) + $70 (caused by the
$600 repair cost of hit&run accident + one accident history)
保险公司在这个6月周期里分别追加了我两次，第一次$130，第二次$70。真是郁闷。可
是价格还是比其他公司quote的要便宜，只好还是从了。。。
share给大家，让那些担心accident和repair开销影响保费的同学有个rough idea，知

是从owner手里买，车主要价$8200，这个价格是在KBB的good和excellent之间
但是这个车有个accident,carfax是这样写的:

我对车是一点不懂，感觉这车年份比较新，所以还很想买下，但是纠结在这个accident

查了一下autocheck,有事故：
请问高人，为什么说只有一个事故呢？ 5月和6月的是两个不同的accident，还是同一
个呢？

autocheck上查出来没事故，
carfax上查出来有一个04年的accident，描述是这样的：

然后又去instavin上查了一下accident report，结果报告说no accident。。。
小弟就困惑了，事故是04年的，应该不会是因为数据库更新不及时的问题而导致有些网
站说有事故，有
些说没事故。还请大侠们指点，这究竟是什么原因啊？这辆车可以入手不？ |

发帖数: 386 | 18 去年6月时候买的BMW新车，去年12月时候有过一个很大的accident。车拿去第三方body
shop修了。但之后出现了一些内部mechanism的故障。首先是电池坏了。由于首次出现
电池相关的warning是在accident之前，dealer也没有注意到accident的问题，bmw
dealer按照warranty把电池换了。然后出现了washer fluid empty之后warning灯没有
亮的问题。这次bmw dealer检查的时候，发现是body shop的人修的时候把线接错了，
所以不在保修之列了，像打开fender的人工，和后面检查接线都需要额外收钱。
当然这次我就准备自掏腰包把打开fender的人工付了，然后让body shop拿去看。但是
我的问题就是，以后我车有任何的大小问题，难道bmw保修不都包了？ bmw如何界定说
什么问题仍然由他们的warranty负责，什么问题是由于accident造成没有修好的呢？
bmw跟我的口气就是说其实你上次电池问题说不定也是撞车的问题，本也不该帮你修。

If the property damage of any person is $1,001 or more, all the involved
drivers are required by the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law to file form MV-104
(Report of Motor Vehicle Accident). File form MV-104 with the DMV no more
than 10 days after the accident. The DMV can suspend your driver license if
you fail to report an accident.

他说车轮上的面板被撞了， 那个面版换掉了。 还有刹车到快要停是感觉jerking,不平

滋声， 买家说是正常的。
不知道有什么需要注意了， 大家给点意见？ |

先看了dealer提供的Carfax没有任何事故，然后我查了autocheck,结果发现有一个
accident,发生在买了新车的两个月后，原owner还一直开到现在，三年多了。
这个accident的描述是Minor accident or vehicle damage reported: right side.
既然原owner事故后还开了3年多，是不是就没有很大影响啊，还是只要有事故就最好不
要买啊。最近看车烦死了，请帮提意见。
还有如果能买的话，dealer开价6300, kbb: Excellent $6,690 Good $6,140 Fair
$5,265 ， 哪个价位比较合适啊。 |

My friend Got a ticket on Other Offense : Fail to Yield. My friend run into
an accident with Motorcycle. The driver has not serious injuries. The
passage may lose a leg. She had premium Insurance (each accident Max $300,
000). She will go to Court for the ticket. There are three results - Guilty,
No Guilty and No Contest. Since it is an accident with injuries. Does she
need a lawyer to help her on the court? What's the process? Any information

17丶VIN Report：
名词解释：
Accident
事故记录！只能看到事故的时间和类别，不能看到具体原因丶程度，若需详细情况，
需要购买专门的Accident report，但不值得。还是机械检验相对靠谱一些。
每有一次小事故记录，车子大概贬值5%-10%！
只要车子还是Clean title，这样的车子仍然值得入手！不过也要考虑将来卖车的问题。
Clean Title
正常的Title，大家基本只买此类车。
Salvage Title
此车曾经大修过（一般是因为严重事故），而且当时的修理总费用超过汽车残值的50%
（不确定具体数字）。
Rebuilt Title
比Salvage Title更严重！貌似超过残值80%。
Frame Damage
框架损坏！不建议购买！
Rental/Fleet record
此车曾经被用作商务车，比如租车公司的车。
Emission Test
尾气排放测试，此为德州州检的一部分，正常现象！
Lien/loan

医生的记录说his condition is secondary to the accident。另一个医生的记录说，
the accident may have worsened his condition。
请问有经验的朋友，“secondary to the car accident”是什么意思啊？还有，这两
个医生的结论，从insurance claim和保险赔偿上来讲，到底哪一个对于我更有利呢？

来的carfax上面竟然显示2006年有个accident，2008年carfax才开始report，camry是
2007年买的，当时查的时候肯定没有车祸，这几年开着也没有任何问题，2000年的车，
LE, 现在9w迈，dealer只给1500，觉得太低了就回来了。
想问问大家这种accident为什么发生两年之后才在carfax上面显示出来？dealer让我去

本文要描述的是我自从去年感恩节被involve into a car accident以来经历的一系列
事情。思来想去，事情之所以拖的这么久，一方面因为肇事者实在是过于奇葩，另一方
面是因为自己对于美国的一些办事的流程以及司法体系不甚了解，以至于某些环节上走
了一些弯路。在此写下自己校内的第一篇正式日志，记录这8个月来的种种经历，并且

be a police car (the owner contacted me using -911 number, and refused to
provide personal number), he asked my information (i haven't provided it yet
) and said he wanted to report this accident. But for me, I don't want to
leave any accident history on my record, is it illegal to ask that driver
not to report this accident? Any good solutions? Thanks. |

了一下carfax report,2013年10月8号有过一次accident,具体什么样的accident不知道

发帖数: 1470 | 46 2nd generation Lexus RX (07~09) 全系列都有严重硬件缺陷。
1： 之前那个所谓mat压住了gas pad造成强制加速、一车人全部死亡的事件就是2nd
gen rx 350上发生的。
2：7万迈以上的的07～09的rx 350 以及rav4 、 camry几乎都有steering rack fluid
leak的问题. 修的话要更换整个steering rack。 2千起。
club lexus 上有好几个贴子讨论这个缺陷。
建议直接google：lexus rx 350 steering rack leak
3： rx350 7万5千迈的维护是这车比较大的一次维护。 准备烧掉1千以上。
4： 7万迈的车，轮胎和刹车都得换了，另外又得1500。

下班时间，高速还算比较堵。我从最右lane 换到旁边的左lane。看了镜子和盲区，然
后change lane。然后过了一秒 （感觉），后面车轻轻碰上了我。
然后停到路边，对方也停了。对方认为我change lane 责任，我觉得对方追尾。我本来
以为没啥事，结果对方要求要保险，或者叫警察。
其实事故很小，我左后方有两道擦痕 （其实我都不记得是不是以前在停车场被人蹭的
）。 他车右前方（车胎前的bumper）有小半个手掌大擦痕。
警察来了，问了情况，给了个case number。我问他谁的责任，他说很难说，由专门事
故小组鉴定，他只管纪录。 让我过几周后取accident report
当时时速估计15-25 mile 吧
把事情说完了，也不知道最后算谁的。如果算我的，就买个教训了。。。
顺便问个问题。我刚到这个州，警察要求我换car title，这样，我就必须换新州的保
险了。换保险会不会影响我这个accident 的理赔啊 （特别是如果算我责任的话）？

Accident 的车都不qualify for CPO， 让我放心， 这个车的第一任车主也是从他们那
里买的， 然后一年后有Baby换了部ML350， 我当时也查了Carfax， 是Clean的。
结果， 我是八月买的车， 我现在想去Trade in 也买 ML 350, 结果， Carfax 从十月
的时候才有report 说这车6月的时候有过accident, "Accident report, Involving
Front Impact"...
请教我现在该怎么办？ 我当时问了两个Sales跟一个manager 都说这车是clean 的，
不然不会qualify 她们的CPO还有extended warranty, 我应该怎样去跟dealership 讨
个公道呢？ |

他们说有过Accident 的车都不qualify for CPO， 让我放心， 这个车的第一任车主也
是从他们那
里买的， 然后一年后有Baby换了部SUV， 我当时也查了Carfax， 是Clean的。
结果两个月以后，CarFax Report 才显示有过accident, "Accident report,
Involving Front Impact"...
当然车子都买了，也没法再去追究了，3万的车半年后Trade In 才值$12,000. 只想给
要买二手车的朋友提个醒，还有请教下这里的大侠这种情况该如果避免？ |

现在自己再买车的时候 车主说他的车撞了另外一辆车 警察叫来了 肯定通过保险公司
理赔了 但我查他的carfax的时候居然上面没有accident 记录。。。太奇怪
是不是carfax没法100%包括所有report？
