还有small group分开的，一分钱一分货罢了。

民主党选民本来就多，按理说投票率甚至不需要比共和党高就能赢，但是这么个选举怪
象，把民主党的优势不是碎片化就是集中化，使得民主党必须调动特定区域的投票热情
才能赢，而且民主党桑德斯带领的极端化现象也把很多温和派弄跑了，obama得背这个锅
我不是很中意Obama，微操手段太差，要不是当时有希拉里 biden 拜亚德和pelosi这些

糊涂无能，误以为不能立刻加上她，到了open enrollment的时候也肯定可以加。作为
graduate student,如果你选学校的保险而不是另外自选，那你的保险就是group
insurance, 没有medical underwriting，你妻子的pre existing conditions在这种情
况下完全不是问题。
ACA之前只有个人和small group买保险才会受pre existing的限制。基本你是自己没搞
清楚状况，开始自己一人的时候选了外面的plan, 而不是学校的large group plan, 然
后情况变化了又没整明白才会这么费劲。

我同意每个人都应该有保险，右派确实是太冷酷没有同情心，但是左派对自己要求也未
免太低。什么都是别人的错，自己是纯洁无辜的小白兔。
即使在ACA之前，每个州都有实在太sick买不到商业保险由政府补贴的high risk pool
。你当时都有group coverage了，因为你自己的无知或者贪便宜心理而没有cover你老
婆, 所以没有申请成功high risk pool，至少不完全是社会的错。理想状态下，应当是
罚你一笔钱，但是同意off cycle的把你老婆加进你的commercial policy.
