引言
在美国从事房地产经营的七八年来，粗略估算，本人所参加过的房地产拍卖会少说也超
过一百次。趁着目前地产市场萧条，“闲着也是闲着”，不如将我经历过的趣闻趣事写
出来与读者分享。以下所述 基本是我的亲身所历。为增加可读性以及避免有人对号入
座，故事中的人和事稍作修改。
我所知道的非自愿转让（Involuntary Alienation）房地产拍卖在本州有如下几种：1.
Sheriff sale (不知道怎么翻译， 由警官主持)；2. 房地产税拍卖 （Property tax
sale）; 3. 取消回赎权拍卖（foreclosure auction），或叫受托人拍卖（trustee
sale）。本人所经历的主要是第3种，以下所有的故事都源于此。
（一）儿戏般的拍卖场地
从书本上知道在取消回赎权拍卖上能买到很好价格的房地产后， 就很想到现场见识一
下。经过几番打听，得知拍卖会每个礼拜五的上午在本县法院大楼进行。回想起在电视

希望给想要在Newport租房的同学分享一点经验。
首先让我们来看一下Newport优越的地理位置——与Manhattan隔河相望，乘坐地铁（
PATH）10分钟左右即可抵达曼哈顿中城（Midtown），下城（Downtown）和Wall Street。
公共交通：
PATH：两条主干线，一条通向曼哈顿33rd ST，沿途经过Christopher， NYU（9 ST），
14 ST和23 ST。是上班族和NYU留学生的首选线路。同时在33街可以也很方便的换乘B，
D，F，M，N，R，Q，1，2，3等众多地铁。因此去往纽约其它地区，比如Chinatown，
Flushing以及JFK机场也都是十分方便的。从Newport抵达33rd ST的时间大约为15分钟
。PATH的另一条线路则通向WTC（世贸中心），也就是金融区了，路程时间为7分钟。是
在Wall Street附近上班同学的不二选择。
NY Waterway：如果您是高帅富，那么@北美找房推荐您选择是乘坐水上Taxi前往纽约，

前天从中城 1st Ave & 33rd St 沿着东河到South Ferry骑了个来回。风景不错。就是
天气热了点。
今天骑了最长的一次：从中城 1st Ave & 33rd St 到布鲁克林的 Atlantic Center
Mall。骑过布鲁克林大桥的感觉很好。。。总共花了55分钟，超过了45分钟的限制，要
被罚款了。。。其实中途有很多地方可以换车的，但一高兴就忘了。。。
纽约很多道路现在都划出了bike lane。特别是曼哈顿的1st和2nd ave，还是protected
。BMW三座大桥也有专门的bike通道。上个月在加拿大蒙特利尔开会也看到那里有同样
的bixi，但蒙特利尔的道路显然不如纽约那样bike friendly。但纽约司机开车跟流氓
一样，double parking是常事，bike lane经常被汽车占据，还是有一定的危险性。
另外 citibike 的分布范围还是小了点，曼哈顿往北只到60街，布鲁克林最远也就到

Pro: Not safe at night; parking may be a problem too.
Harrison
Con: Least expensive, parking is easy, free day-care for kids 3-5, high
Chinese population, relatively safe.

发帖数: 5892 | 50 温哥华警方新成立的打击帮派快速反应小组（Gang Quick Response Team），介入温市东南区一便利店停车场周六凌晨发生的枪击案。事件中无人受伤，未有人被捕，但警方指枪手是锁定袭击目标，现正追查此案是否涉及帮派仇杀。
据星岛日报报道，温市警发言人麦吉尼斯（Jana McGuinness）表示，案发于周六凌晨12时半左右，警方接到多人报警，称东33街（E. 33rd Ave.）同乃街（Knight St.）路口处的7-11便利店停车场处，有人连开数枪。
案发后，警方高度重视，派出上月12日渥街（Oak St.）发生导致10人中枪严重案件后组建的打击帮派快速反应小组，赶往现场，并封锁现场。多辆警车在附近仔细搜查，未发现枪手踪迹，只在便利店停车场发现多个弹壳。
据目击者指出，案发前一辆深颜色轿车驶到便利店停车场停下，一男子下车进入便利店。稍后另一辆浅颜色轿车驶至，车里有人向深颜色轿车连开数枪，两辆车随后均高速驶离现场。遭枪击的深颜色轿车不久折返，接回之前进入便利店的男子。
