means that letting your dog lick your face may not be the cleanliest
decision.
There are many health risks associated with letting your dog lick you. One
of the biggest is roundworms. Roundworms are an intestinal parasite commonly
found in puppies and can be passed to you through licking. If you get your
pet tested regularly and give it de-worming medication every month, the risk
is slim to none. Either way it's something to consider if you are going to
let your dog lick you anytime they please. Some serious medical conditions
can be caused by roundworms. Symptoms are cough, fever and headache.

其实我是这么觉得，狗并不懂什么叫tough什么是不tough。其实只要让她知道你对她好
，你是她的leader，她可以信任你，就足够了。很多想法其实都是人自己的想法。还有
人说，a trained dog is a happy dog.而且不是说让狗上床上沙发他们就会更开心，
更爱你。这些都是从人的角度来想的。当然这是我的想法。
我从来不abuse我的狗。我对她其实很好。上次想给她吃个organic的鸡蛋，叫我老婆骂
了我一顿。但是我和她确实有些距离（指那种要和狗亲亲抱抱的距离）
我基本上是一个比较理性的pet owner。heidi也是我的第一个除了鱼以外的宠物。
Heidi 刚来的时候还小，有一次把我儿子撞倒了，还张开嘴把牙齿lock在了我儿子脖子
上。她显然是在企图dominate我儿子。我吓坏了，当时都考虑不要她了。后来随着她长
大，也都好了。
我也不反对别人把狗当儿子养。但是有些人的言论也挺雷我的。前段时间有一个关于一
条狗没拴绳子把一个小孩扑倒的问题。有人就是一个说，说她没有自己的孩子不懂。最
雷我的是她的回信，竟然说“你怎么知道我没有亲生的孩子？我的狗就是”。她要是说
“虽然我没有亲生孩子，但是我的狗就跟我亲生的一样" 我都能理解。呵呵。
大家不要拍我，我感觉多数不理性的pet owner是女性居多。当然不是说女的pet owner
都不理性。至少我还没听过哪个男的说他的狗是他亲生的。hoho.

我的小黑狗今年2岁了，来的时候5个月，27磅。现在已经有57磅了。她的性格很随和，
我俩儿子一天到晚追着她满屋跑。我对她的要求也很严格，不许添人，不许上楼，不许
上家具。她一见到猫就兴奋，有时候会有一个猫跳到我们家墙头上，然后海迪就冲过去
叫，那只猫也不跑，因为那猫知道海迪拿他没办法。海迪刚来的时候我训练过她两个月
，现在一般只要不见到猫什么的，她跟着我heel走问题不大（就是走的时候不看着我。
不过我想歪个脖子走应该也挺累的).现在我都改成骑车遛她了，但是不是每天都遛。我
每3个礼拜给她洗个澡。家里来客人我就把她关起来，有时候一关就是6，7个小时，她
也都一声不吭。我以前有些怕狗，所以我非常理解不喜欢狗的人，我也会assume别人都
不喜欢狗。除非所有来的人都喜欢狗，否则我肯定把她关起来。有的时候有人在大门口
晃，她会过去叫几声。不过我估计坏人来了，第一个吓跑的就是她。海迪已经成了我们
家的一个成员了。大儿子是她的大哥，小儿子是她的二哥。现在我已经给她弄了个去后
院的狗门，这半年多里她从来也没有过accident。我要给她出入的自由。
附上照片一张和家谱一张。她爸妈都很大，她很小。不过我估计这跟她那窝的数量有关
。她那窝有12。一般也就7，8个。
