我是用专门的种草SOIL，先在秃的地方铺一层SOIL，再撒草种，然后再铺一层SOIL. 弄
完扒拉平SOIL，就立马剪草坪。 这样，不会损坏草种。 | s*********e

发帖数: 837 | 4 Right, although there are exceptions, many herbicides (pre-emergents and
post-emergents) may also inhibit the grass root development after
germination and/or kill very young grasses. So read the labels carefully.
Normally you should wait at least 3 months (some 8 months) after
pre-emergents and at least 1 month after post-emergents before planting
grass seeds, and at least 3-4 mowings of new grass before applying
post-emergents, all depending on the specific herbicides you use.
In your case, if you just hand rake the moss without using any moss killer
or herbicides, you can drop the seeds right now. Do not use any "feed and
weed" products when planting new seeds. Just use the plain "starter
fertilizer".
Yes, before overseeding, try to mow your lawn to the lowest level
recommended for your grass type, while abiding by the 1/3rd rule: don't cut
more than 1/3rd of the current grass height. If this won't get you to the
desired level, cut multiple times with a few days in-between until the
desired height is reached. |
