发帖数: 7142 | 3 没看明白，你是想把 Tall Fescue 全部杀死换成 KBG?
这种情况通常做法是全部 Round Up 然后种 KBG.
tall fescue 没有什么针对性的药，而且 tall fescue 比
KBG 皮实。老美就是引进 KBG 很多地方种不活，太热，缺水
才引进 tall fescue 的。你希望 KBG 把 tall fescue
掐死那是不太容易。
Tall fescue 有一种病叫 brown patch. 如果能成功引入的
话没准。从来没有听说有人这么干过就是了。

If it looks green and like a lawn, I will be happy. If I kill all the tall
fescue, it means that I will almost redo the lawn which is not my intention.
I want to keep the minimum spending and make the lawn look ok.

There are new turf type tall fescue has finer blade than
the traditional tall fescue. The most common old fashion
tall fescue is K31. It is very tough, the only draw back
seems to the look.
Your tall fescue is going to require fewer water than
the KBG. Does that make you feel better?

Though it may need less water, it is not as green as KBG, and not as soft,
which is the biggest drawback for kids.

发帖数: 7142 | 11 I think the new turf type tall fescue can get pretty
dark green as well. Maybe even darker than KBG.
I can take some picture of my tall fescue. It is very
dark (for me).
The question is, does that worthy the trouble for you to
nuke the old lawn and grow new ones.
BTW, I haven't seen much sod farm provide fine blade
turf type tall fescue. You have to do some search.
You might need to grow it yourself.
