last time i had accident in LA, my insurance covered the other car i hit,
and my credit card covered the rental car i drove. use ur platium card to
rent the car bah.
but my own car's insurance wasn't full coverage at that time. so i am not
sure whether ccy's full coverage can cover all le. ask his insurance company
bah?

好像不大make sense，但是就是这样的。
你可以打电话给你的保险公司，降成半保。

insurance for $17.95 per rental。普通的platinum visa和master card都只是
secondary insurance，注意有些车是不保的比如Van。

我知道的和pang说得比较吻合：信用卡的保险是Collision&Damage，Liability得从你
自己的保险走，除非你另买。如果出了车祸，你自己的保险赔对方，信用卡的保险赔你
租的车。
但并不是所有的保险都包rental，所以你要和自己的保险公司咨询。有一些租车公司要
求你出示liability的保险证明，否则不租给你。
