pinning a ball against his helmet, David Tyree was everywhere at Montclair
High School even as he was on a plane flying home from Arizona with the rest
of his jubilant teammates.
On the lawn in front of the school, where Tyree played high school football
a decade ago, the message board read “Our M.V.P.” in a salute to the
unlikeliest of heroes in the Giants’ victory over the unbeaten New England
