汗，你这一来，俺发言就成了骄傲自满，不发又觉得对不住网友，唉。。。

I am writing to you because there is a potentially serious situation on my
son’s (XXX) bus. As a parent, I naturally came to you for your kind
assistance and intervention.
My son was hit against the window by XXX on the afternoon bus#X on Friday,
October 1st 2010. He cried all the way home.. We are very alert of this
situation since this is already the second time it happened. The first
occurrence was around two weeks ago.
Although we are aware that sometimes playful acts on the bus go a little
awry, and kids at such young age normally mean no harm. But hitting against
window still seems a bit over, and we are concerned that our son could be
seriously hurt next time. It is also not our wish if he starts to mimic such
behavior.
I understand that you have an “Open Door” policy. And we were encouraged
to contact you for any concern. We appreciate your help on solving this
problem. Out of your busy day, this may just be a little glitch, but to us,
it is a tremendous help…
Should there be another formal channel of reporting such issues in the
future, please kindly inform us.

我们的 recess，老师都是看着的.
如果没有，你先和老师联系一下，比较严重的事故，老师应该自己上报的。我们老师说
，有问题，先找她，不要直接找校长。

I think you should, given the seriousness of your situation. You may want to
inform your kid’s teacher that you are talking to higher authorities so
that she may not feel offended.
