Liquid Audio bets on digital music

It seems that the audiophile's dream has come true--the ability to create
one's own compact discs on a personal computer with digital music downloaded
from Web sites.
Liquid Audio Japan Inc. says it can help set up such sites with its music
encoding technology, billing system and server to store up digital music
data in Japan's 1 trillion yen music market, the world's second largest.
