sauna主要是dry heat,不用steam.
有时浇点水主要是为了屋里的空气交换.

times a week. It actually makes all the winter sport much more enjoyable.
It is also a healing room. It helps a lot of health conditions.

The best is the western red cedar. It meets all the requirement and smells
very very good.
Redwood is also a good choice, but it lost its color very soon.

for a long time. Could you please share some more details about it, e.g.,
dimension, door/window, light, water drainage, etc, like what RWKR has done,
which will be extremely helpful.
I also have a few questions:
1. Could you please share the name/brand of your heater.
2. I am very surprised what you said that sauna is mainly dry heat. I
think steam is very important for sauna, like what those Sweden people do.

发帖数: 2610 | 12 It is actually Finnish, not Sweden. It mainly uses dry heat. Some prefer
to put a little steam in it to adjust the humidity. I don't like steam
very much because it just makes me too sweaty.
yes, you need water barrier. It is a layer of aluminum foil around the
wood boards. And you need to finish the floor too so it is easy to clean
the extra water. Ideally, you need a drainage on the floor. but I didn't
do it. It is just too much work and again I just don't like a lot of
water.
