Your school's relationship with recruiting companies helps a lot. A school
good at job placement usually has decent history and reputation in recruitment
. So there is a pool of companies coming to campus hiring every year.
And if the interview slots are enough, it's easy at least to get an
interview chance. If a company never comes to your campus, the hiring
possibility is already small.
Off-campus job hunting is always tough especially for international students

go back to China that should be fine. At least you won't be jobless.
Does your school have a career development center to help students with job
hunting?
