发帖数: 14069 | 9 签证要半年有效，绿卡貌似没有这个规定，俺LD两周前入关护照也只有四个月有效期。
不过还是换了的好，拿个颜色和大家不一样的自我感觉怪异，纽约中领馆现在是加急第二天就可取。

you can't get on plane if your chinese passport is going to expire within 6
months. it doesn't matter whether you have green card or not.
it's the rule by china.
Some people even had problem when leaving US to china.

A huaren id's parents were forced to change their air tickets return date (
back to China) when they tried to get on the plane out of China, because the
return date was within 6 months of passport expiration.

1) Faxed the question to the Consulate, they replied back by email saying no
problem for GC holder
2) Called US airport custom (the airport of my return flight), the officer
said no any problem.
3) Called Chinese custom in Beijing airport, they said it is OK for them if
the flight carrier (like UA or Air China) let me check in.
4) Called my flight carrier, they said if the consulate says OK, then it is
Ok.
Conclusion for LZ, try |
