I will be changing jobs from one employer A to another employer B.
I hold H1B.
Have a question about the starting date in B and the leaving date from A.
Some people told me that there should be no gap between these two dates.
Does it mean that
(1) the leaving date from B +1 = the starting date in A exactly?
Or
(2) the leaving date from B >= the starting date in A?

Yesterday, I talked to the immigration specialist in my university.
She told me (1) is better.
(1) the leaving date from B +1 = the starting date in A
