I just feel that Gnosticism is not much different from any religion
with "God" and "Devil". Whether human beings are alluded by a serpent
or imprisoned in material bodies by Demiurge , the question is "how
could that happen if there were God?"

made law, made by some personalized god.

发帖数: 172 | 6 面对世界的种种痛苦和罪恶，面对内心的种种恐惧贪婪与迷惑，能够有一个终极的正义
的存在作为寄托是人之常情吧。如果这终极的正义是人格化的存在，能倾听，能帮助，
能指引，当然更让人有依赖感。
我承认我希望有上帝存在，尽管不是Bible中的上帝。 |

生命有精神和物质两个来源是很通常的看法。
生老病死带来痛苦，同时我们也不难观察到物质世界的不断变化，这样把生老病死归咎
于物质也就很自然了。所以物质部分是＂恶＂，会生老病死；精神部分是＂善＂，永恒
不朽。
善要胜恶，所以恶不能高于善，所以物质本于精神。
挺符合常识和感情。
相比之下，佛教的理论确实很特别很特别。否定精神永恒的同时又否定断灭。 |

en, it is reasonable, as what's beyond is not comprehensible by a regular
mind. It's got to be experienced.
I just started reading a book on Jung and Gnosticism, and the prologue so
far says that Gnosticism is on connecting with an internalized God, like the
archetypes or collective unconsciousness, etc, rather than some external
God. An externalized God is based on faith, rather than experience or belief
, making the religion to be not grounded and hence further away from the God.
One thing though I find amusing from that book is that it claims that June
is a Gnostic, perhaps in the similar way that Christians want to claim some
celebrities as Christians. But here's an argument on how Jung is not a
Gnostic:
