i just reloaded my win 2000 professional and
then installed the security updates. so far so
good. however,the system file protect notified
me that some older versions of files were replaced
by unknown files and wanted me to restore
the win 2000 version ***prior to*** updates.
is this a serious problem? it said to affect
system stability. thanks a bunch. | x******8

My friend told me the recent Windows updates contain errors. So wait till they
reissue those updates.
