Please - if you haven't done so, make sure you know which electoral (
congressional, state, councilmanic) districts you live in. Here's a link to
an electoral district locator:

These are the main countywide/statewide offices - those that will appear on
ALL of our ballots:
-County Executive
At-large seats on the County Council (there are four)
Board of Education (BOE districts refer only to the area in which the
candidate/BOE member must reside)
Governor
Attorney General
These offices are specific to YOUR electoral district:
Congress
General Assembly (Delegates and Senators)
District specific County Council seats
The filing deadline is now long past. Anyone running for office has already
announced. Everyone can easily find out who their choices are.
So - now it's time for all of us to do our homework. Take any opportunity
you can to talk to candidates, ask questions, listen to answers. There are
lots of candidate forums. |
