发帖数: 4 | 1 My company's lawyer told me not to tear off I-20 from I-797, but last time
on my way back to US from Canada through land, the officer took my
original white I-20 (that I got last time I entered US from China) and
stapled the I-20 on I-797 form to my passport. Shall I surrender this
green stripped I-20 when I leave US for China for 10 days and get a new
white normal one on the way back to US? Thanks! | S**I

Now the border office tore it off for me and put it on passport. According
to the instruction on the back of I-94, I should surrender if I leave by
air. Should I not do it at the airport? That's the only I-94 I have, they
took my old one away.
