Authorities are investigating what they believe to be
a double homicide in Montgomery County.
Two bodies were found along Craig Creek Road in the
Jefferson National Forest Thursday morning. The sheriff's
office identified the victims as David Lee Metzler and
Heidi Lynn Childs, both from the Lynchburg area.
The two were found in the Caldwell Fields area by a man
walking his dog.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says both were
