Now, the company is announcing some 2.5 million people could lose power for
over 48 hours starting this weekend. But, they're not giving a timeframe to
residents.
"In California...they're forcing PG&E to do social justice work instead of
their core mission. Don't let your state turn your power companies into
green plants where they have to buy expensive energy at the expense of
maintenance," he told Fox News viewers.
"That's a coming thing for America and it will cause defaults like you have
with PG&E," Del Beccaro predicted.

There's not words that can explain California. I would feel sorry for them
but hey they voted the socialist official's into office so - enjoy.
Also, don't forget how California restricts logging greatly to "protect" the
forests. Well folks, if you stop the logging companies, this is how nature

back centuries.

core "American" values are allowed to run unchecked. Public services should
never be privatized.
The cause is not too complicated. Top executives' bonuses were tied to stock
price and dividend performance. That created an incentive, millions in
bonuses, for propping up the stock price and dividends. For many years
Billions in legally required maintenance money, that the PUC allowed to be
collected specifically for O&M, were diverted fraudulently by senior
management, who took hundreds of millions in bonuses gained by fraud. It is
a scandal that the PUC, the state overseer, was captured by the industry and
did not do their duty to halt the fraud. However the cause of PG&E's
problems is criminal negligence and fraud, not "social justice work"

IMO, California policy and leadership has been in the dark for decades, now,
they are literally in the dark.
PG & E was doing business the California way, buying liberal politicians
instead of maintaining and updating their power grid.
They made a bad investment, liberals will turn on you in a NY minute (which
is probably what that phrase is referring to).
So PG & E will go BK, who is going to pay to fix things?

Maybe in your area that might be the case but both the Camp Fire that burned
the town of Paradise to the ground and the currently burning Kincade Fire
were started by *equipment failure* and not on the local distribution lines
that were turned off, but on the high power transmission lines that remain
active during the shut-offs. Pure and simple, PG&E has not maintained their
lines for decades and now their customers are paying the piper.
Putting lines underground would be cheaper than the money they claim they
are losing, a big win for all but common sense and safety is not a priority
for them. They'd rather just jack up our rates instead. | c*******e

自然指责 民主党，ｌｉｂｅｒａｌ 政策，还有环保主义者；
反过来，这些人可以回头指责大公司资本主义贪婪，指认钱；环保措施跟不上等等，

Authorities have ordered at least 50,000 people in Northern California to
evacuate on Saturday as a potentially "catastrophic" wind event could

across 36 counties in the state for 48 hours or more this weekend, the
company said in a statement.
PG&E said Friday areas in Northern California that could lose power from
Saturday afternoon onwards include Humboldt, the Sierra foothills, Western
Sacramento Valley, the San Francisco Bay Area, Monterey Bay and the northern
Central Coast. Customers in the company's southernmost region -- such as
Kern County, which includes Bakersfield, could have their power shut off
Sunday.

例如干旱
妈的山上到处修了下水管子（防止泥石流）
然后加州左叉又不让修水坝（不但不让修新的，连正常维护的经费都挪走挥霍了，所以
上次有个超级大坝差点垮塌）
还要拆除更多水坝
结果就是更多的水直排大海，加州还要从隔壁州买水喝
然后因为自然降水存不下来，加州越来越干旱
更多动植物受害，估计以后山上树都烧没了，河里的水也会没的，以后别说保护几条三
文鱼了
这些三文鱼估计以后早晚从加州绝迹
大火越来越多也只是最终结果而已
当然，左叉们说是气候变化引起的，其实根本不是，加州最近几年大雨创历史记录，但
是干旱程度也创历史记录
如果这些水没有排走，都回灌到各个土地上，就算不是直接回馈给自然界，哪怕是农民
用了，加州的气候也不可能变的如此干燥
