the "Hamilton Electors," a group able to fundraise unlimited donations from
individuals, corporations and labor unions for political reasons.
The goal of the group is to convince Republican Electoral College voters to
support a third-party candidate and force either an Electoral College
deadlock or elect an entirely different candidate to the presidency.
“I was opposed, actually, to raising money because I would prefer to just
have this done organically,” Baca told The Denver Post. “But we’ve had
